It's time for the some fabulous new Sweet November stamp previews. These will be available for sale at the All That Scraps store on Sunday, April 3 at 9pm CST. Todays projects feature Darby & Lulu. Be sure to also click on over to guest designer 1LuvnMama as well as another All That Scraps favorite designer, Rachel. Amy, the creative mind behind the Sweet November line, is offering a chance for some great blog candy.
The minute I saw that Darby was in a sitting position I knew I had to pair her up with a Fancy Pants felt piece I have had for a while. I jazzed it up a bit by adding some extra felt flowers and buttons. The design of the felt piece naturally curved into a partial circle so it was easy to fit it to the doily cut with a My Favorite Things die. After stamping Darby onto Copic X-Press It blending card I colored her with Copic markers and then cut her out. I "sat" her on the felt piece, placing pop dots underneath her for stability. All patterned paper came from My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose pad (Gertie).
Products: Sweet November stamp, My Mind's Eye dp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Fancy Pants felt, PTI felt. sentiment and buttons, The Cat's Pajama's Cutups, May Arts ribbon, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, R11; Hair-E31, E33, E35, Eyes-B93, B95; Dress/Shoes-R22, R24, R27, YG91, YG93, YG95
I'll be back tomorrow with yet another super cute Sweet November stamp preview.

All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge - Tri-Fold Card
It is Wednesday (and hump day) so that means its time for another All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. There is a fun prize being offered and in order to be eligible to win, your project must include a stamp that is sold in the All That Scraps shop whether it is any of the wonderful in house designs or from the various other stamp companies that ATS carries. Be sure to link up your project with Mr Linky by next Tuesday at 10PM EST and only one entry per person please! Today's challenge is a tri-fold pocket card. In case you are not familiar with this type of card, here is a tutorial.
I used a Little Yellow Bicycle scalloped diecut as my pocket base. After assembling the pocket I decorated the front with felt pieces and the sentiment. For the inside card I printed the C.C. Designs Watering Can digital image onto Copic X-Press It blending card and then colored with Copic markers. I kept the design very simple and "unlumpy" since it had to be inserted into the pocket.
Please excuse the blurry photos. As mentioned in an earlier post, I need to replace my camera. I'm in research mode now and should have something soon. Here is is the pocket with the card inside:
And here is the inside card:
Products: C.C. Designs digital stamp and cutter, Little Yellow Bicycle and Echo Park dp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Taylored Expressions die, Heather Bailey felt, PTI cs and sentiment, Doodlebug jewels, Twinery Twine, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Watering Can- C1, C3, C5; Greenery-G20, G21, G82; Flower petals/Heart-R81, R83, R85; Butterflies-R35, R37, R46, N3, N5, N7
Have fun with the challenge. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the first of the April Sweet November previews.

I Love You, I Miss You
Today's card is for this week's The Cat's Pajamas Tuesday Challenge (TCP151). It's my favorite kind of a challenge - an inspirational one. I know most people love sketches instead but a lot of the time I find them to be too restrictive. Of course there are some sketches that are more versatile and interesting than others. A recent stamp favorite has gone to all sketch challenges so I appreciate that The Cat's Pajamas continues to mix theirs up. But I digress.
I love these cute little bunnies in tutus and the pink and white colors in the inspirational photo provided the perfect opportunity to use them. I stamped each individually onto Copic X-Press-It blending card and then cut all with Spellbinders Nestabilities with some out of the box action with the largest bunny. All were colored with Copic markers which took all of three minutes and then matted onto paper doilies cut with a Papertrey Ink die.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp, Echo Park dp, Papertrey Ink die, Memrie Marie seam binding ribbon, Kaisercraft pearls, Doodlebug button, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunnies-E50, E51, E53; Tutu's R81, R83
I apologize for the photo quality. My camera is dying. I've been noticing for a while that there were some blurry edges on my photos (see the "I love you" in the photo above). Now the problem seems to be escalating. When I turn on the camera I have a dark viewfinder. Turning it off and on can make it come on but sometimes there are dark shadows all around the edges. Continuing to turn off and on finally brightens up the viewfinder so that I can take a photo but even then I still get some blurriness. I did a search on the internet and have found this to be known Canon problem. However, when I contacted Canon, they denied there was an issue with the S2 IS (even though there are a gazillion complaints on the internet). Since it is out of warranty, I can pay them to fix it starting at $127. But as a loyal customer, they will sell me a refurbished camera for $190. And get this, I have to send in my old camera. Which of course means they just refurbish it and pass it on the next customer who complains about this problem. Double dipping the customer. What a crock. It has really soured me on Canon cameras. I feel a Nikon in my future. But of course this happens during tax time so there is not one spare dime.

All That Scraps Challenge - Sketch
Welcome to another the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. The challenge this week is a sketch.
I stamped the Sweet November Aquarius image onto Copic X-Press blending card, wiping away the necklace and water droplet portion before stamping. I then colored with the Copic markers listed below. I cut around the box portion of the image with a trimmer and then the portion outside of the frame with scissors. I kept the embellishments simple with ribbon and buttons.
Products: Sweet November Stamp, Bella Blvd dp, American Crafts ribbon and dp, PTI buttons, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E11; Hair-Y38, YR18, E19, E15, YR01; Eyes/Blouse-B000, B01, B04, C3, C7, C9; Lips-R22, R24
Have fun with the sketch.

I Wish I Could See You
The sentiment on this card has a lot of meaning to me right now. I really don't put my private life out on the internet but I have to admit that I am struggling with some things in my personal life. Oddly enough, it seems to have made me more creative though. Thank God I have crafting to keep my mind off things.
I made this for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp sketch (MFTWSC11). Normally I don't have problems with a sketch but frankly I really didn't understand this one. Of course I also worked on this on a really hard day for me so maybe that had something to do with it. I stamped the MFT Pure Innocence Peek a Boo image onto Copic X-Press It blending card. There really isn't much coloring with Copics since I paper pieced her dress. I used tiny pearls for the buttons on her dress and shoes.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp, My Mind's Eye dp, May Arts ribbon, Kaisercraft pearls, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E11; Hair-E33, E35, E37; Shoes-BG70, BG72; Shadows-W00
Wishing you health and happiness. Thank you for stopping by.

Vintage Style
Good morning. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. It's a beautiful spring day here. It actually got a little too warm yesterday. I really thought we might have to turn on the air conditioning at one point. We're trying to postpone that as long as we can though since the long hot summer days of it running practically 24 hours a day will be here soon enough.
I am double dipping on challenges with today's card. I followed the Mojo Monday Sketch(182) and also submitting it for the new Taylored Expressions Grand Opening Gallery Challenge on Split Coast Stampers. I stamped the spools of thread image from the Taylored Expressions Sew Happy set onto a small circular piece of Copic X-Press It blending card and then colored with Copic markers. I stamped the TE dressform image onto patterned paper and cut it out. I then stamped the button card image from the PTI Button Boutique stamp set onto Copic X-Press It blending card. I "aged" both image panels with Tim Holtz Fine Linen distress ink to give it more of a vintage look.
Products: Taylored Expressions stamps, Papertrey Ink stamps, cs,dies, buttons and doily die, My Mind's Eye dp, Memrie Marie seam binding ribbon, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: BG70, BG72, BG75, Y21, Y23, Y26, E40, E41, E42, W00, W1
I hope you have a great Sunday. See you back here soon.

Birthday Bunny
I finally got our taxes ready for our accountant. I'm glad to have the piles of paperwork off my table and my crafty stuffs front and center again instead. Today's card is for The Cat's Pajamas Tuesday Challenge (TCP150) which is a sketch. I thought Birthday Bunny with his long floppy ears would be perfect for the long narrow image panel in the sketch. I stamped him onto Copic X-Press It blending card and then colored with Copic markers. Since I didn't have any pennant dies for the background panels, I cut with my trimmer experiencing a bit of trial and error. There may or may not have been some cursing involved in the process. It was worth it though because the results make me smile. God knows I could use some cheering up these days.

This is my second project this week using My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Warm Fuzzies stamp. It's just perfect for Easter or spring projects, not to mention it's completely adorable. Easter Wishes
Good morning. I have another Easter/Spring card today featuring the oh so adorable MFT Pure Innocence One Sweet Chick. I stamped the image onto Copic X-Press It blending card and then again onto patterned paper so I could paper piece the dress portion. After coloring the main image with Copic markers, I cut out the images and then punched or die cut all the other elements to complete my spring scene. All patterned paper is from the Echo park Springtime collection.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics; Echo Park dp, PTI sentiment stamp, cs, scallop die and felt; Kaisercraft pearls, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Martha Stewart punch, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E11; Hair-E33, E35, E37; Shoes-RV13, RV14, RV17; Egg-E40, E41, E42; Chick-Y0000, Y21, Y23

I printed this sweet and whimsical Darby and Dazzle digital image onto Copic X-Press It cardstock and then cut it out with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I finally got some new Copic markers so I have a new hair color for Darby, thanks to Amy for listing the trio on her blog one day. I haven't bought any markers in a long time and it feels good to have some fresh new colors. All patterned paper is from the Snow Day 6x6 pad by Crate Paper. Yes, it's Christmas paper but there were several patterns that were not snow or holiday themed. The banner was cut from a My Little Shoebox sheet and then I stamped it with a PTI sentiment.

Love Bunny
I am trying very hard to get some Easter/Spring themed cards finished up to go in the mail for Operation Write Home. As per usual, I am pushing the deadline. Apparently I am the ultimate procrastinator. Today's card could be used for either theme I think. I stamped the adorable My Favorite Things Warm Fuzzies P.I. onto Copic X-Press It blending cardstock, colored with Copic markers and then cut out. I followed this month's Sketch for You to Try for the layout. All paper is from the Echo Park Springtime collection.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp, The Cat's Pajamas sentiment, Echo Park dp, PTI cs and button, Twinery Twine, Kaisercraft and Basic Grey pearls, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E11; Hair-E50, E51, E53; Bunny suit-RV00, R81, R83

P.S. I Love You
Good morning. I think I am finally over my migraine - I have a niggling headache but I can live with it.
Today's card is for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge (MFTWSC10). I stamped the Pure Innocence Making a List stamp onto Copic X-Press blending cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I cut her out then attached the image to a notebook page which is My Mind's Eye ledger paper cut with the MFT Notebook edge Die-namics. The typewriter sticker is from a W R Memory Keepers sticker sheet from this past Valentine's collection. All paper is from the Echo Park Little Girl collection.

Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E11; Hair-E53, E55, E57; Clothing/Shoes-R32, R35, R37; Letter-E41, E42
Last week was rough with pretty much a headache most of the time. The earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan has certainly put my problems in prospective though. My thoughts and prayers are with the Japanese people as they try to recover from this horrible tragedy.

Honey Bear
I've been suffering with a migraine for several days now so I'm going to make this short and sweet. Today's card is for this week's The Cat's Pajamas Tuesday Challenge (TCP149). The challenge was to pick one of the previous TCP challenges. I went all the way back to TCP128 which was to use any P.J. Bear stamp. Thanks to the cat cash I won this month I have one of the newer P.J.'s, Honey Bear. I stamped him onto Copic X-Press blending card and colored with Copic markers with a bit of paper piecing on his tummy. I combined the image with this sweet bee themed My Little Shoebox patterned paper and then finished it up with paper from the Echo Park Little Boy collection.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and Cut-ups, Echo Park and My Little Shoebox dp, American Crafts ribbon, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Bear-E50, E51, E53, E55; Bee/Honey jar-Y21, Y23, Y26, Y35, C1, C3, C5; Heart/Bee Wings-B000, B01, BG53

All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge - Buttons
It's time for another All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. The challenge this week is to use "buttons".
I love buttons so this was an easy challenge for me. Buttons can really be the perfect finishing touch to a card. I stamped Sweetheart Birgitta from the Swiss Pixie line onto Copic X-Press-It cardstock and then cut it out with Spellbinders Nestabilities, sponging around the edges with ink while it was still in the die. I colored her with Copic markers and then layered the image onto a piece cut with one of the My Favorite Things Doily dies. I used the buttons to frame the image substituting a flower in one of the spaces. All the paper is Basic Grey Green at Heart.
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E11, R20; Hair-E33, E35, E37; Dress/Ribbons-R32, R35, R37; Shoes-G40, G82, G85; Shoes-Y21, Y23, Y26
Now get out those buttons and stamps! I'll see you back here soon.

Go Fly a Kite
Do you have some neglected or forgotten stamps? I certainly do. I made today's project for Jessie's Forgotten Stamp Friday Challenge. The stamp is Pure Innocence My Balloon, although you might be puzzled about the name since she is not actually holding a balloon. That's because I swiped away the balloon portion before stamping so she could hold a kite instead. I pierced two spots in her hand to thread the string through. Now if this was my kite, it would either be tangled up in a tree or smashed on the ground but this little girl knows what she's doing.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics, Cosmo Cricket and My Mind's Eye dp, PTI sentiment stamp, Kaisercraft pearls, Twinery twine, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, R11; Hair-E53, E55, E57; Clothing: BG70, BG72, BG75, Y21, Y23, Y26, R22, R24, R27
Do I sound cheerful? So many things to be sad about but if I thought if I faked it long enough maybe it would get better in the meantime. The gloomy rainy weather hasn't helped my mood. Thank goodness I have stamping/crafting to keep me preoccupied.

Happy Monday. Well as happy as a Monday can be anyway.
Today's card follows the sketch for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club (MFTWSC9). I stamped the Picture Perfect a la mode stamp onto Copic X-Press-It cardstock and then colored with Copic markers, paper piecing her skirt. I found this Queen & Co. photo film shaped felt in my stash. I weaved the ribbon through it then tied my bow. I reversed the sketch to fit my image better.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp, Jillibean Soup and Echo Park dp, Queen & Co Felt Fusion, Papertrey Ink doily die, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, E11; Hair-E33, E35, E37; Boots-R22, R24, R27; Camera-C3, C7, C9, Y15, Y17, YR23, YG21, YG23, YG95; Shadows-C1
Have a great week. As always, thanks for stopping by.

Feeling Lucky?
Did you see that I was lucky enough to be chosen as the March Swanky Stamper for The Cat's Pajamas? Today's card is for this weeks The Cat's Pajamas Tuesday Challenge (TCPTUES148) which is a theme of "Get Lucky".
I stamped The Cat's Pajamas Big Bear image onto Copics X-Press It cardstock and colored him with Copic markers. After cutting the image out, I placed him into a patch of grass which was cut along with the background with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I used a pop dot underneath his head to give him more dimension. And wouldn't you know it? This lucky guy found not one but two four leaf clovers. I got the free clover/shamrock digital stamps by doing a Google search on the internet. After coloring, I cut out and tucked them around Big Bear.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp, American Crafts dp, PTI button, Basic Grey pearls, Martha Stewart punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Bear-W00, W1, W2; Clover/Shamrocks-G21, G24, G85

Sweet November Preview Day 6
Welcome to the sixth and final day of the Sweet November Zodiac Girls stamp previews. Today we are featuring the Aquarius and Pisces images. Be sure to also click on over to guest designers Carisa and Gaelle along with the creator of the Sweet November line Amy who is offering a chance for some blog candy.
I selected the "Pisces" image for my project today. I stamped the image onto Copic X-Press-It cardstock wiping away the necklace portion before stamping. After cutting her out, I colored with the Copic markers listed below. This card really is all about the scraps - all paper and ribbon snips came from my scraps box.
I hope you have enjoyed all the new Sweet November Zodiac Girls stamp previews as much as I did creating projects with them. These will be available for sale in both rubber and digital form at All That Scraps on March 7. Have a great weekend.

Sweet November Preview Day 5
TGIF! Welcome to another day of Sweet November Zodiac Girls stamp previews. These will be available for sale in both rubber and digital form at All That Scraps on March 7. Todays projects feature the Sagittarius and Capricorn images. Be sure to also click on over to guest designers Margie and Alison along with the talented illustrator of the Sweet November line Amy who is offering a chance for some blog candy.
I chose to work with "Capricorn" today. Afterall it is my sign. I did a bit of altering of the image by omitting the goat horns and the necklace to make her appear to be a girl enjoying a sweet spring breeze. I used my Memento Tuxedo Black Marker to color my stamp close to the horn areas, then inked up the remainder of the image sans the horns with my Memento ink pad. I "huffed" on it a bit, then stamped onto Copic X-Press-IT cardstock. And since I had not stamped the horns, I drew in the resulting blank spaces for hair with a Copic Multiliner pen and colored her with Copics. I cut around the box portion of the image with a trimmer and then the portion outside of the frame with scissors. All patterned paper came from my scraps box. I wanted my card to be very springlike so I added some rolled roses and butterflies created with My Favorite Things Die-namics.
Products: Sweet November stamp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Papertrey Ink sentiment, Doodlebug jewels, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E50, E00, R20, Hair-Y21, Y23, Y26, W1, W2; Eyes-B91, B93, B95, C5, C7; Lips-R83, R85; Clothing-C3, C5, C7, C9
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will come back tomorrow for one more Sweet November preview.

Todays projects feature the Gemini and Cancer images. Be sure to also click on over to guest designers Jen and Jeanette along with the creative mind behind the Sweet November line Amy who is offering a chance for some great blog candy.
I chose to feature the "Cancer" image today which I stamped onto Copic X-Press-It cardstock and then colored with Copic markers. I'm not sure I have the catch lights in her eyes placed correctly. How does it look to you? I love how where you place them can completely change the expression. I cut around the box portion of the image with a trimmer and then the portion outside of the framed area with scissors. I replaced the zodiac symbol on her necklace with a rhinestone. She's so pretty I thought she deserved some bling including a pearl earring. The sentiment is Shakespeare which I computered generated. All patterned paper came from my box of scraps.
