Today is the first day of four days of C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps July previews.
I am showcasing Olivia's Apple today. After coloring her with Copic Markers I paired her with patterned papers from the Lawn Fawn Dewey Decimal collection for the background as well as the notebook paper panel that I cut the top edge with a notebook die. The sentiment came from the School Logos set and was stamped with Stampin' Up Raspberry Ripple ink. After matting it I attached it to the notebook paper with a paper clip.

Memories
Today's card is yet another one that I shared at the TCP Pajama Party at Splitcoaststampers on release night but not here on the blog.
This card is as close to vintage as I can get as it really isn't a style that I'm that good at. I prepared the card background with a Darice embossing folder directly on the card base. After stamping the image from the Vintage Summer set onto a newspaper print patterned paper and I then cut out with the matching Framed Up CutUps. If you look close (the flourish obscures it), I stamped the "memories" portion of the stamp again and cut out with the die, then layered it over the "summer" sentiment. The flower was created by cutting two pieces using the Petal Posies CutUps from a pink ombre patterned paper, making sure to cut one of each from the lighter and then the darker shade. I wet them, wadded them up in a ball, unrolled and then allowed to dry. After layering together, I used black pearls for the center and then attached to the card with a flourish underneath cut with the Heart Swirl CutUps. For the last step, I layered two banners together cut with the Bitty Banners CutUps and attached to the top of the card. All the patterned paper came from the Fancy Pants As You Wish pad.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas Stamp and CutUps, Fancy Pants dp, PTI cs, Kaisercraft pearls, Darice embossing folder, Simon Says ink

Snowflakes Sparkle
It may be hot as heck at here but I'm cooling down with snowflakes. Paper snowflakes anyway. Today's Christmas card is for the current Merry Monday (#114) challenge is to add some Sparkle, Shimmer or Shine.
Despite the sentiment my card is more shimmer than sparkle. I cut the patterned panel from the Anna Griffin Winter Wonderland pad and then added a small piece of silver metallic at the bottom. I attached it to the PTI Soft Stone card base with glue at the top third so it would hang softly. I cut the snowflake from some older Bazzill Basics cardstock using the Papertrey Ink Stitched Snowflake. The cardstock came from my scrapbooking days and has a subtle shimmer. I attached a swirl of silver thread to the panel and then laid the snowflake on top of it. I used the Mama Elephant Dainty Bow die set to create the bow from more of the silver metallic paper and then centered if over the snowflake. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Papertrey Ink In the Meadow set using Delicata SilveryShimmer ink and topped the bow with a single jewel.
Products: Papertrey Ink stamp, die and cs; Anna Griffin dp, American Crafts glitter cs, Doodlebug jewel, Mama Elephant Dainty Bow Die, Delicata ink
That's it for today. Stay cool!

The Cat's Pajamas Summer Blog Hop
The Cat's Pajamas design team liked playing with our Summer Stamps, CutUps Dies and Cutables so much we would like to see what you did with them.
So from now until July 24 we are having a Summer Blog Hop. Just use at
least one stamp, or die, or Cutable from our new Summer collection and add
it to the Inlinkz on the right column of The Cat's Pajamas blog and you could win a $50 Gift Certificate! It's that easy.
Let's get inky!
Hello Summer
Did you happen to see that I was chosen as one of the winners of the Catered Crop Manly Men Recipe Swap? That means that I am participating in the new Summer Lovin Recipe Swap. That's a serendipitous theme as the new The Cat's Pajamas release is all about summer.
Today's card features a sentiment from the The Cat's Pajamas Vintage Summer set even though it is not remotely vintage.
I die cut the tag shape using the Luggage Tags CutUps although I made it a bit longer. I attached the double butterfly cut with the new Butterflies CutUps using dimensional dots underneath the wings for some lift. I added a double flower to cover up the tag hole using a combination of the smallest die from the Petal Posies CutUps for the largest flower and then topped it with another piece that I cut using the Ornaments CutUps. I attached the completed tag onto the background piece with dimensional dots and then added the sentiment from the Vintage Summer set stamped with Simon Says ink. I finished it up with a few matted enamel dots for a clean and simple card.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and Dies; Simple Stories, Pink Paislee and Basic Grey dp, PTI cs, Doodlebug enamel dots, Simon Says ink
Happy Hump Day! Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate {TCP Tuesday Inspiration Challenge}
It's TCP Tuesday time again and I am the hostess for the inspiration challenge.
I went with a patriotic theme using an image from the new Vintage Summer set stamped with Stampin' Up Midnight Muse ink and then cut out with the matching piece from the Framed Up CutUps. I prepared the background by using the Star Rosette CutUps as an embossing plate directly onto the card base. After putting together the patterned paper panel, I cut a notch out on the left side and then wrapped denim ribbon around it. After attaching it to the card base I added a veneer star in the notch (hard to see in the photo). The image was attached with dimensional dots and then topped it with a small pinwheel cut with the Pinwheels CutUps. A few wood veneer stars, sequins and a button provided the finishing touches.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and CutUps, Authentique dp, PTI cs and button, Studio Calico stars, Darice sequins, Stampin' Up ribbon and ink

Hello Friend
Hello Monday! Today's card is for the Reverse Confetti June Color Challenge. What a gorgeous color combo of red, yellow and aqua. Aqua is my go to color. It seems to be one of those colors that goes with every other color.
For a change of pace, I offset the background panel onto the card base. I also cut the tag from the same Hawaiian Shores cardstock using the Reverse Confetti Tag Me set and then cut the smaller one from Doodlebug patterned paper. I secured them together with a bit of yellow ribbon. I cut the the double ended banner using a piece from the Love Note set and then stamped the sentiment from the Peacock Pretties stamp set. The heart was also cut from the Love Note set and the arrow with the Reverse Confetti Arrow die. I finished up with a trio Lawn Fawn flower sequins.
Products: Reverse Confetti stamp and dies, Doodlebug and Simple Stories dp, PTI and Bazzill cs, American Crafts ribbon, Lawn Fawn sequins, Simon Says ink
Have a great week! As always, thank you for visiting my little corner.

Merry & Bright
I have a Christmas card for you today that I created for this week's Merry Monday challenge (#113). I cut the two tags using the Papertrey Ink Tag Sale #9 dies from American Crafts glittery paper and then attached them to the card base with hemp cord. Normally the smaller one goes in front but I reversed them for a different look. I cut two circles with Spellbinders Nestabilities and then stamped the snowflake from the PTI Tag-Its #8 set onto the larger circle using Delicata Silver ink and the tiny snowman onto the smallest circle using Memento ink. After coloring the image with Copic Markers which took about 20 seconds I attached it to the center of the snowflake with dimensional dots. Lastly I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background panel using Simon Says ink.
Products: Papertrey Ink stamps and dies, American Crafts dp, PTI and Bazzill cs, Delicata, Memento and Simon Says inks, Copic Markers
Copics-C00, C1, BG0000, BG000
Thank you so much for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with another card.

You are Awesome
Good morning. I haven't had many chances to create a card for a challenge in a while. The other night I couldn't sleep so I got busy at my craft table and I actually made three cards. Today I'm sharing the one I did for the Paper Smooches Anything Goes Challenge.
I had some fun with the Cuteasaurus set which has been in my not yet used box for a while. I paper pieced the main body of the dinosaur and colored the spikes with Copic markers and then fussy cut out. I stamped the palm tree twice, colored the trunks with Copics and then fussy cut out them out as well. I then stamped the leaves portion of the image onto patterned paper, cut out and then secured over the original image with a mini brad, using dimensional dots for a 3d effect. I attached everything onto a circle cut with a Lil' Inker Designs die. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the background piece which was also cut with a Lil' Inker Designs die. The patterned paper all came from the Pebbles Seen and Noted pad.
Products: Paper Smooches stamps, Pebbles dp, Bazzill and PTI cs, Lil' Inker Designs dies, Memento and Simon Says inks, Copic Markers
Copics: Dinosaur-R11, R14, R17; Tree-E53, E55, E57, W2
I'm thrilled to have something to show for my insomnia besides dark circles under my eyes!
I'm also entering this into Darnell's NBUS challenge.

Enjoy It Before It Melts
We wrapped up The Cat's Pajamas June release on Tuesday but I had several projects I shared at the Pajama Party at Splitcoaststampers but not here on the blog. The one I'm showing you today was featured on the TCP blog; I will feature the others on another day.
After coloring the image from the Life is Like Ice Cream set with Copic Markers, I cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I stamped the umbrella and cherry portions of the image separately, colored and fussy cut out then attached to the original image with dimensional dots. The card base was prepared by using the Dots CutUps to emboss the background rather than using as a cutting plate. I added two strips of patterned paper one of which was cut with the Big Pinking CutUps. After attaching the image, I wrapped some Linen Thread around the base which was strung with sequins. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background with Memento Rose Bud ink.All the patterned paper came from the American Crafts Plus One pad.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and CutUps, American Crafts dp, Linen Thread, Doodlebug Sequins, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Memento ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunny-R00, R01, E40, E41, E42; Ice Cream-W00, E81, E70, E71, RV00, RV11, R83; Cherry-R32, R35, R37; Bowl-BG0000, BG0000; Umbrella-W00, E81, YR01, YR12; Straws-W00, E81, YG23; Shadows-B0000, B000
That's it for today. This has been a busy week so far. How about you?

The Cat's Pajamas New Release Blog Hop
It is release day for The Cat's Pajamas! All eight of the new stamp sets, two Cutables and three fabulous new Cutups dies are available now in The Cat's Pajamas Shop. There are some free Cutables there too!
If you came from Lisa's blog, you are on the right path as she was first on the hop.
My project features the Card in a Box Cutables. I first cut the box from white cardstock and the mats from Pink Paislee patterned paper with my Silhouette and then assembled. I chose to cut the mats from double sided papers so I could use both sides. I stamped the various images and sentiments from the Simple Blooms set onto pieces cut with the matching Cutables using Simons Says Black, Stampin' Up Crisp Cantaloupe and MFT Sour Apple inks. I inserted these inside the box and them matted one of the floral images onto a piece cut with the Circus Panel CutUps for one of the flaps. The butterflies were from Doodlebug patterned paper using the new Butterflies CutUps. Although it looks all kinds of complicated it was super easy to make! There is lots of room inside the box to add as many elements as you want for a more dressy look.
And I love that it folds right up into an A2 sized envelope.
And did you know that the sale of the Card in a Box and Step Out Cutables for the next two months will benefit our very own Julie Masse. You can read about her adoption process here.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas Stamps, Dies and Cutables, Pink Paislee dp and Doodlebug dp, PTI cs, Teresa Collins sequin, Stampin' Up ink and cs, MFT and Simon Says inks
I hope you have enjoyed all the previews, chatting and the shopping! To continue the blog hop, please pop on over to Christine's blog. Christine is one of our awesome Swanky Stampers and I'm sure she will have something creative to show you.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Life is Like Ice Cream
Today is the last day of the June The Cats Pajamas Sneak Peeks. Come on by the Pajama Party tonight in the TCP Forum at Splitcoaststampers between 8 and 10pm EDT. We will be chatting, sharing even more new projects using the stamps and dies from this release and playing games for a chance to win some Cat Cash to help you make your purchases tonight.
Today we are showcasing the Life is Like Ice Cream set. I created a square background from strips of patterned paper and then stamped the image directly onto it, allowing the sherbert colors of the papers "color" the image. I added a bit more color with ribbon and an old Scrapworks clip along with a scattering of sequins. The papers all came from the Doodlebug Kraft in Color pad.
Here are some details you need to know:
1. All the new stamps and dies will be released on Tuesday, June 17.
2. If you're IN IT TO WIN IT, visit the TCP Forum at Splitcoaststampers to comment and chat on the IN IT TO WIN IT thread every day for an opportunity to score some new TCP goodies.
3. The Pajama Party is tonight Monday, June 16 from 8-10pm EDT.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Aye,Eye,I
It may be the 6th day of TCP sneak peeks but this was the first card I created for this release.
I really had fun with this one using a combination of the Aye, Eye, I stamp set with the coordinating Under My Hat CutUps. I started out by cutting the image panel using the notebook edge from the Toppers CutUps set and stamped the eyes directly onto it. I cut out the flower with one of the dies then stamped it with yellow ink and black for the center. After cutting out the various other pieces from various colors of cardstock, I placed the hat at a jaunty angle, then the flower, mustache and monocle. I attached the piece to the background paper using a paper clip, then stamped the sentiment and added a couple of sequins. The patterned paper all came from the American Crafts Plus One pad.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, American Crafts dp, Ki Memories paper clip, Darice sequins, Stampin' Up and Simon Says inks
