Hello Sunshine {Purple Onion Designs}

My card today features some Stacey Yacula images created for Purple Onion Designs.

Using the sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches #393 Challenge for the layout, I stamped the Bloom No. 2-Daisy three times across a Neenah cardstock rectangular piece, then stamped the bee from the Net, Butterfly & Bee set. I colored with Copic markers, adding some white highlights to the lower centers using a white gelly roll pen. I used The Cat's Pajamas Flutter By die to create the flight pattern. The sentiment from The Sweetest Day Sentiment set was stamped onto a patterned paper piece. A few sequins and baker's twine provided the finishing touches.

{Reminder} TCP Tuesday #358 Challenge

Today I am sharing my second card for the June TCP Tuesday #358 Challenge with a theme of Summer. There is still plenty of time to submit your project. There is a $50 gift voucher to the TCP store in play!

I couldn't resist using the new Folk Art Flowers set again. I love it so much and still have so many ideas for it. After stamping the three flowers, I cut out using the matching Folklore Flower CutUps. You receive a discount if you buy the stamp and die set as a bundle. I used the Square Stamp CutUps die to cut the postage edge from textured white cardstock and the center from patterned paper. I used the small random dots image from the set to stamp across the bottom of the center piece. After placing the diecuts on the subtle patterned paper background, using a layer of craft foam on the postage edge portion, I inserted the three flowers in it. The sentiment from the Scripted Sentiments set was stamped directly onto the background panel.

Rain or Shine....

Now that I am caring for my granddaughter during the week, the weekend seems to be the only time I can get any cards made. I'm not complaining but I do miss getting inky during the week. I need to learn to care for her and craft at the same time. Help me out with some advice young moms!

I stamped the sun, umbrella, lightning bolt and cloud from the Reverse Confetti Weather It Together set onto cardstock and patterned paper, then cut out with the matching dies. After cutting out the tag using the Reverse Confetti Grid Stitched Tag die from plus the matching tab from patterned paper, I stamped the sentiment onto it and clustered the stamped images as well as another cloud cut with a die from the Sun 'n Clouds set onto the tag. Before attaching the tag to the top folding card base with a layer of craft foam, I stamped three different rows of scallops from the Elemental Stripes set.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp, PTI, MFT and RC inks

I am submitting this tag/card to the the current Tag You're It #89 Challenge as well as to the Reverse Confetti June Stock Your Stash Challenge.

Just "bee" Cause

I have a sweet bee themed card for you today. When I think of spring and summer I always think of bees. And of course honey. We leave our screened in porch door partially open a lot so our dogs can go in the backyard to do their business. The downside to that is sometimes we get bees and butterflies and occasionally even a bird or tiny frog trapped inside trying to figure their way back out. I have been known to do rescues with a dustpan and small whisk broom. We need all those little creatures especially the bees.

After stamping up the honey jar, honey dipper, bee and floral spray from the Reverse Confetti Happy Bee Day set onto Neenah cardstock and the jar topper from patterned paper, I cut out with the matching dies, then colored with Copic Markers. I used the main die from the Hello and Thanks Label set to create a cutout from linen cardstock, then lined the opening with honeycomb patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel using hawaiian shores ink, then attached the stamped images using craft foam. Twine tied at the top finished it up.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, Honey Bee and Lawn Fawn dp, PTI cs, The Twinery twine, Altenew and PTI ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Honey Pot-Y000, Y21, YR31, BG0000; Honey Dipper-E30, E31, E33; Bee-Y000, Y02; Florals-BG11, BG13, R32, R35, R37, YG01, YG03

I am submitting this to the June Stock Your Stash Challenge at Reverse Confetti.

The Cat's Pajamas June TCP Challenge

It's the first Tuesday of the month so that means a new TCP Tuesday Challenge for  June. We are celebrating all things SummerYou have the remainder of of the month to complete for a chance at a $50 TCP gift voucher. You do not have to use a TCP product but why not use them if you have them.

When I think of summer, I always thing of flowers and greenery first. After stamping the images from the Folk Art Flowers, I cut out using the matching Folklore Flower CutUps. You receive a discount if you buy the stamp and die bundle. I inserted the flower stems inside the watering can and attached to a pattern paper  tag shape cut from the Holiday Window Duo CutUps. I cut the image panel creating a frame by nesting two stitched dies together, then cut an insert from woodgrain cardstock. I punched a hole in the top of the tag and tied a bow with Divine Twine and attached inside the framed panel. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said set onto the bottom of the frame.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, PTI dp and cs, Ellen Hutson cs, Divine Twine, PTI and Lawn Fawn ink

His Promises are Forever

Hello there Monday. You came around very quickly! I really hope all of you had a fantastic weekend. Ours was very low key which is exactly how we wanted it.

I did get a chance to get crafty on Saturday. This card is for Laurie's Fabulous Favorites challenge over on the Ink to Paper blog which is to frame your sentiment.

After cutting a sentiment panel from linen card using the Papertrey Ink Shape Shifters: Circle 3 Die, I stamped the sentiment from the Garden of Faith set using a combination of new leaf, green parakeet and black ink. The panel was then attached to a card base with a matching patterned paper border at the bottom. To frame the sentiment I stamped flowers and leaves from the Brushed Blooms set using raspberry fizz, hibiscus burst, new leaf and green parakeet inks, then cut with the matching dies. A few enamel dots finished it up.

Products: PTI stamps and dies, PTI cs and dp, Doodlebug enamel dots, PTI and Altenew ink

I hope you have a blessed week sweet crafters!
