Today's projects are all about some of the new The Cat's Pajamas cutables. Alma knows how much I love tags and I was delighted to see the super cute Christmas tags she created for us to play with including this adorable set. I foresee me cutting all of these. And of course you can cut them at any size you want, so they can also go on cards if you don't need gift tags.

Purple Onion Designs Anniversary Sale!
Yay! A great way to start the week off is with the annual Purple Onion Designs anniversary sale! It has been 18 wonderful years of fabulous designs and excellent customer service. As a thank you to our wonderful customer, the stamps are 25% off including those already in the sale section.
Today's card features images illustrated by the imcomparable Stacey Yacula (@staceyyacula), often imitated but there is nothing like the original.
Wooley (lamb), Billy (goat), Flo, Mo and Bo (chicks) and Spring Fence were all stamped onto Copic friendly cardstock, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut out. Yes, even that fence! What was I thinking? To create the background scene, I stamped the Farm Horizon and then the smallest image from the 2 Forests set and added a sentiment from the Around the Town Sentiment set (ironic considering this is a farm scene). I added a few grassy scribbles with a multi-liner pen, then colored with Copic markers. To assemble, I first attached the fence to the scene, only gluing on the two edges. I then slipped the goat and the lamp underneath, attaching with foam dimensionals around their heads. One of the chicks was perched on the fence and the other two around the sentiment, all attached with foam dimensionals.
Now get shopping and take advantage of this great sale! Have a great week!

The Cat's Pajamas Christmas in July
I have two projects to share with you today featuring some of the new The Cat's Pajamas digital stamps and cutables. TCP has been doing Christmas in July releases for several years now which really helps me to get started on my Christmas cards.
First up is the new digital stamp set Penguin Sleigh which was printed onto Copic friendly cardstock, colored with Copics, then fussy cut out. I attached it to a die cut circle. The sentiment front the set was printed onto the card front and I anchored the image circle with a strip of patterned paper. A few rain stones finished it up.
I used the new Simply Winter Cutables to cut the bird and pine branches from cardstock using my Silhouette machine. After assembling the cardinal I used R30 Copic to shade and then added a small enamel heart. The pine bough was cut twice so I would have another small branch both cut from white cardstock. I blended on bundled sage and iced spruce distress oxide ink, sprinkled glue over the stems, then poured glitter over it for a bit of sparkle. I prepared the background with tumbled glass distress ink and water. The cut pieces were attached to a vellum circle which was then strategically glued to the background so the glue would not show. The sentiment from the Merry Everything set (which is 60% off) was stamped using silvery shimmer ink onto cardstock cut with a double ended flag die. I layered it onto a rectangle piece cut from the same cardstock piece as the bird for a bit of extra color. Lastly I added a few sparkly enamel dots.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and cutables, PTI and Ranger watercolor cardstock, Doodlebug enamel dots, Ranger Distress and Oxide ink, Delicata ink
As TCP continues to transition to digital products, the physical product as 60% off.

Sending Happy Wishes
If I am going to do a Christmas in July this year, I am off to a very slow start! There will be Christmas cards completed this month but I have no idea how many at this point.
I couldn't resist the My Favorite Things Christmas Cardinals set when it went on sale, stamping three of the branches and the cardinal onto Copic friendly card stock then cutting out with the matching dies. I used this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #549 for the layout using two of the holly branches as the diagnoal portion along with a strip silver metallic cardstock. I attached the other branch and the bird to a die cut patterned paper circle using foam dimensionals. Before attaching all the pieces to the card front, I stamped the branches using soft stone ink. The sentiment was white embossed.
I hope your week is off to a great start.
