Faith

Today's faith based card was created for Grace Klein here in Birmingham (@grace_klein_community). This is a wonderful faith based organization that has many charitable endeavors both locally and globally. Their goal is to give out 100,000 scripture based cards this year to be included with the food, clothing and school supply boxes, etc. They want cards in bundles of 25 which is daunting to our kind of card makers but my goal is to donate 100 cards by the end of the year. If you have any questions or want to join me, please send me an email or comment on this post and I will give you the details.

I used the various dies from the Concord & 9th Friendly Florals set to create the coneflowers from two shades of pink with yellow centers plus green stems and a bee from the same set. Rubbernecker Stamps Luke 1:37  verse was stamped with cornflower ink onto a tag cut with a die from the Paper Trey Ink Charming Tags 1 set. Rubbernecker has been rebranded as Brass & Bliss. The cornflower background cardstock panel was cut with a stitched edge die then embossed with the Spellbinders Geo Screen embossing folder. A trio of yellow pearls finished it up.

Products: Brass & Bliss stamp, The Stamp Market, Concord & 9th and Papertrey Ink cs, Kaisercraft pearls, Spellbinders embossing folder, Concord & 9th ,MFT and Papertrey Ink dies, The Stamp Market ink

This card represent cards #26 of my second bundle of 25.

I am submitting this to the Color Throwdown Challenge #803 with colors of yellow, pink and blue and also to the Word Art Wednesday challenge of Anything Goes - Weeks #657-658.

Create in Me

Today's faith based card was created for Grace Klein here in Birmingham (@grace_klein_community). This is a wonderful faith based organization that has many charitable endeavors both locally and globally. Their goal is to give out 100,000 scripture based cards this year to be included with the food, clothing and school supply boxes, etc. They want cards in bundles of 25 which is daunting to our kind of card makers but my goal is to donate 100 cards by the end of the year. If you have any questions or want to join me, please send me an email or comment on this post and I will give you the details.

I cut both hearts from simply chartreuse cardstock using The Greetery Heart Leaf Posy Die set and the flowers from cardstock in my scraps bag using dies from the Forget-Me-Nots set. The small flourish was cut from kraft cardstock using a die from the Curio: Spring Findings set. I  blended gathered twigs distressed ink onto it as well the border strip to change the color. Before attaching all the elements, I used the Regency Swirls embossing folder (which was included in my Gemini box) on the upper part of the panel then stamped the sentiment from the Stamp Simply Words of Encouragement set using chocolate ink.

Products: The Greetery dies, RC and PTI cs, Ranger Distress and MFT ink

This card represents the 25th card in my first bundle of 25. Three more bundles to go!

Under His Wings

Today's two faith based cards were created for Grace Klein here in Birmingham (@grace_klein_community).

For both cards I used the PTI Year of Psalms March and PTI What the Doodle Feather and die which are both retired.

First up, I did some ink smooshing using salvaged patina distress ink onto a stitched edge cardstock panel. Two of the feathers were stamped onto watercolor paper using Versamark ink then white heat embossed and cut out with the matching die. I blended PTI dark indigo, tropical teal, green leaf inks. The smallest feather was stamped with tropical teal ink. I stamped the sentiment using tropical teal ink directly onto the panel, then clustered the three feathers around it attaching with a combo of glue and foam dimensionals.

Products: PTI stamps, dies and cs, MFT die, Ranger Distress ink and PTI ink

I tried for a more masculine on the second card. The diagonal stitched panel background was created by blending distress tumbled glass ink over  Picket Fence Studios Slim Line Moving Air Stencil. I stamped two of the feathers using permanent black ink, cut with the matching dies then blended lake house, sage and dijon ink and sprinkled water downed white acrylic ink with a fan brush. The two smaller feathers were all stamped with dijon ink. After attaching all the feathers around the sentiment which was stamped with permanent black ink, I added a trio of sequins.

Products: PTI stamps and dies and cs, Lil Inkers Designs die, Picket Fence Studios stencil, Doodlebug sequins, Altenew, The Stamp Market and Ranger Distress ink

These two cards represent cards #23 and #24 for my bundle of 25 (because I found 12 cards in my stash that fit the scripture requirement).

I am submitting to the Word Art Wednesday challenge of  Anything Goes - Weeks #657-658. And also Tic Tac Toe Challenge (#252) using diecuts/free/any sentiment.

{The Cat's Pajamas} Thinking of You

Todays card features the Bye Bye Birdy digital set from The Cat's Pajamas. This set contains both line art as well as colored SVG files so there is lots of ways to use it. I was inspired by the delightful robin family in our backyard. One early morning as I was letting my dog out to do his business our crepe myrtle trees were full of the robin offspring learning to fly. It was just so sweet.

My card features the line art including the puffy bird, heart birdhouse and big branch which I resized and arranged using Silhouette Software. After printing onto Copic friendly cardstock, I fussy cut out, colored with Copic markers and added a few white gel pen highlights.

I placed the image onto a stitched edge circle using foam dimensionals. The sentiment came from the Stacked Sentiments set.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas digital stamps, PTI cs, MFT die, Copic Markers
Copics: Birdhouse-R30, R32, R35, B0000, B000, B01, Y13, Y15, Y35; Bird-R21, R22, R24, W1, W2, N3, YR31; Leaves-G12, G14, G07; Branch-E23, E25, E27

I hope you have a great day. Thank you so much for stopping by.

He Counts the Stars

Today's two faith based cards were created for Grace Klein here in Birmingham (@grace_klein_community).

I tried for a more masculine look on these two cards. Both use a mini cardstock piece from Reverse Confetti (no longer in business).

I cut the star filled cardstock piece with a stitched edge die then stamped the Papertrey Ink Year of Psalms: December  (oos) using midnight ink them attached to a midnight cardstock panel. I added three sizes of stars cut from scraps using The Greetery Rustic Star Small die set. A few sequins finished it up.

Products: Papertrey Ink stamp, Concord & 9th cs, RC cs, Spellbinders sequins, The Greetery and MFT dies, Concord & 9th ink

For my second card, I stamped the Verve (no longer in business) sentiment onto the starry piece using permanent black ink then placed onto a slate background panel. The stars were cut from saffron spice and white cardstock using The Greetery Rustic Star Large and Small dies and attached with foam dimensionals.

Products: Verve stamp, Simon Says and PTI cs,  RC cs, The Greetery and MFT dies, Altenew ink

These two cards represent cards #21 and #22 of my bundle of 25 (because I found 12 cards in my stash that fit the scripture requirement).

Fruit of the Spirit

Today's three faith based cards were created for Grace Klein here in Birmingham (@grace_klein_community). This is a wonderful faith based organization that has many charitable endeavors both locally and globally. Their goal is to give out 100,000 scripture based cards this year to be included with the food boxes, clothing etc. They want cards in bundles of 25 which is daunting to our kind of card makers but my goal is to donate 100 cards by the end of the year. If you have any questions or want to join me, please send me an email or comment on this post and I will give you the details.

All three cards feature an Rubbernecker Stamps Galatians 5:22 stamp. Rubbernecker has been rebranded as Brass & Bliss

I used a Reverse Confetti tag die (sadly no longer in business) to cut from white cardstock and a piece from a older RC mini card pack. I stamped the sentiment onto the white tag using guava ink, then tied the two together with twine. For the background I added three rows of Illustrated Faith washi tape diagonally, then cut the panel with a stitched die. The tag set was attached using a layer of craft foam for added dimension.

Products: Brass&Bliss stamp, PTI cardstock, The Twinery twine, Illustrated Faith washi tape, Lil Inker Designs die, Simon Says ink

For my second card I stamped the sentiment onto a circle cut with The Greetery Nordic Circle dies. The orange slice from the Sunny Studio Slice of Summer stamps was stamped with marmalade and creamsicle inks and cut with the matching die. The lime and lemon were fortuitously already stamped and cut that I discovered in my die cut stash. A few sequins finished it up.

Products: Brass&Bliss stamp, Sunny Studios stamps and dies, The Greetery and MFT dies, Concord &9th and Altenew ink

For the last card, I used yet another Reverse Confetti die set to cut from cardstock and another piece from an older decorative mini cardstock pack also from Reverse Confetti (miss that company). I added 4 strips of different colored cardstock placed diagonally then cut with a stitched edge die. I found the flourish piece in my die cut bag and I slipped it underneath the stamped piece before attaching with a layer of craft foam.

Products: Brass&Bliss stamp, PTI and RC cs, My Favorite Things, Reverse Confetti and Lil Ink Designs dies, Altenew ink

These three cards represent cards #18, #19 and #20 for my bundle of 25 (because I found 12 cards in my stash that fit the scripture requirement).

Gracious Words

Today's two faith based cards were created for Grace Klein here in Birmingham (@grace_klein_community).

For my first card, I used The Greetery Honey Jar stamp set using buttercup ink for the honey jar, fine line for the honey dripper, pernament black and soft stone for the bee and cut all with their matching dies. For the background I cut white cardstock using a die from The Greetery Nordic Frames dies. After stamping the honeycomb images from the Buzz Worth Sentiments stamped with (Simon Says) goldenlocks hybrid ink, I stamped the sentiment from Verve which is now out of business. All the stamped image were attached with a foam dimensionals.

Products: The Greetery stamps and dies, Verve stamp, Doodlebug dp, Altenew, Concord &9th and PTI ink

I stamped images from the Reverse Confetti Happy Bee Day (no longer in business) including the honey jar, topper, dipper, bee and floral cluster, cut out with the matching dies and colored with Copic markers. The Verve Proverbs 16:24 was stamped onto a tag cut with the Paper Trey Ink Charming Tags 1 set. For the background, the The Greetery Honeycomb Corners Dies were cut from a white cardstock panel, then backed with a bright buttercup cardstock piece. All the images along with a flourish snippet from my die cut stash were attached with foam dimensionals. The sentiment is also from Verve which,  sadly, is no longer in business.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, PTI linen cs, The Greetery and PTI dies, Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Jar-Y21, Y15, BG70, BG10; Jar Topper-BG01, BG02, BG05, RV21, RV17; Honey Dipper-E30, E33, E50; Bee-Y13, N3, N5, B0000, B000; Flower Cluster-Y00, Y13, RV21, RV06, RV17, YG01, YG03

These two cards represent cards #16 and #17 of my bundle of 25 (because I found 12 cards in my stash that fit the scripture requirement).

A Pure Heart

Today's two faith based cards were created for Grace Klein here in Birmingham (@grace_klein_community). This is a wonderful faith based organization that has many charitable endeavors both locally and globally. Their goal is to give out 100,000 scripture based cards this year to be included with the food, clothing, school supplies boxes, etc. They want cards in bundles of 25 which is daunting to our kind of card makers but my goal is to donate 100 cards by the end of the year. If you have any questions or want to join me, please send me an email or comment on this post and I will give you the details.

I stamped the Pretty Pink Fresh Floral Hearts stamp and and then cut out with the matching die and colored with Copic markers. I stamped the small cross from a old Technique Tuesday set onto the linen card front which was cut out with the The Greetery Nordic Frames dies. After attaching the floral heart with a layer of craft foam, I stamped the sentiment from the Stamp Simply Words of Encouragement set. A few Doodlebug sequins finished it up.

Products: Pretty Pink Posh stamp and die, Stamp Simply stamp, PTI linen cs, The Greetery die, Doodlebug sequins, Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: BG000, BG01, Y13, Y15, R10, R83, YG01, YG25, E81

While the scripture stamp was on my craft table I made a second card with the same theme. I used a die from the Lawn Fawn Outside in Stitched Heart Stackables set to cut an opening from a stitched edge panel. I cut a backing panel and blended on salvaged patina distress ink and stamped the sentiment from the Stamp Simply Words of Encouragement set. The gold cross was cut using a die from the Simon Says Crosses set which apparently is retired. The flowers and leaves were cut from my scraps bag using dies from the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms set.

These two cards represent cards #14 and #15 of my bundle of 25 (because I found 12 cards in my stash that fit the scripture requirement).

{The Cat's Pajamas} Hello There

Hello there!

For this card I wanted to include the bunny from the This Could Be Vodka set I decided to use the individual images in the Fence & Flowers set rather than the main image. I combined the fence, a couple of greenery pieces and three different flower stems. I used the erase, bring to front and send to back features in the Silhouette software to create the arrangement I wanted. After printing my finished image onto Copic friendly cardstock, I colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut out including getting my craft knife out. I attached the image to a waterfall cardstock panel cut with a stitched edge die. The sentiment is from the Stacked Sentiments set.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas digital stamps, Spellbinders cs, MFT die, Copic Markers

Just a Note {Purple Onion Designs}

Today's card features an image illustrated by Stacey Yacula (@staceyyacula) for Purple Onion Designs which is a part of the Amongst the Pines release.

I stamped Sapphire, Steel & Cobalt (swans) onto a Copic friendly cardstock panel along with Clouds from a previous release then colored with Copic markers. After masking the image I splattered on watered down white acrylic ink with a fan brush.  The sentiment is from the Pinkfresh Studio Perfect Sentimental Stamp and die set.
