Bearing Candy Canes {TCP Tuesday 184 - Stamp Challenge}

Good morning. I have a TCP Tuesday card for you today (TCPTUES184). Susan is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to use a "food" type stamp and/or the Icing CutUps. I turned to the A Beary Good Year stamp set again - this has become a real go to set for me. I stamped P.J. and then used a combination of paper piecing with Copic Markers. As you can see the food requirement was met with the candy cane placed in his hand. What? Candy canes are a food group, aren't they? I added two more images from the set to complete his outfit, the paper pieced santa's hat (with a pom pom) and scarf. The card is small - cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I added a felt piece to represent snow, scattering a bit of Flower Soft here and there for sparkle and texture, then P.J. was attached with dimensional stickers. The miniature candy canes were purchased from a big craft store. I didn't think it needed a sentiment since due to the the word paper as the background.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp, Echo Park dp, PTI felt, FlowerSoft, Spellbinders Nestabilities

Copics: Bear-E33, E35, E25, E37, G0000, G00; Candy Cane-R22, R24, R27, E40, E41, G0000, G00

All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found on Alma’s blog. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week). Have fun with the challenge!
