Christmas Tags and Footprints #1

I can't believe it's already December. I do have my Christmas tree up but nothing else. We are painting the foyer and dining room so I don't want to put out anything else until that is done. Don't ask why I waited until December to paint!

Today kicks off a new series on my blog featuring Christmas tags. I am calling it Christmas Tags and Footprints. I hope you will stop by throughout December to check it out.

This year I thought it would be fun to give cozy socks for the females and warm work socks for the guys in the family who will be celebrating Christmas with us in addition to their big gift. Each set will have a handmade tag along with a small inexpensive gift (under $5) inside one of the socks.

I cut the two tags from chartreuse and white card stock using the Papertrey Ink Tag Sale #9 die set. Using all stamps from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day set, I stamped the heart in red, the snowflakes in Sour Apple and the sentiment with Danube Blue directly onto the white tag. After coloring the scarf image with Copic Markers. I fussy cut out and attached over the heart image using dimensional dots. I topped the two tags with ribbon and twine.

And here it is attached to the socks:
