TCP Tuesday #315 - Bright Colors

It's time for another TCP Tuesday at The Cat's Pajamas with a challenge to feature bright colors on your project. The challenge runs for two weeks and The Cat’s Pajamas stamps are not required but if you have them we would love to see you use them.

I stamped an image from the Sending You set onto a piece cut with the matching free Cutables that Alma provides with each release and then colored with Copic Markers. After cutting out a circle from a piece of linen card stock, I placed a piece of patterned paper underneath before attaching to the card base. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the panel using black and Blue Jay ink. I cut a couple of clouds from textured card stock using the Stitched Clouds die. After attaching the clouds and the image using foam tape, I added a small star cut with a die from the 3x3 Stars CutUps and a few enamel dots to finish it up.

After stamping the the sentiment from the Hopscotch Sentiments set, I cut out a circle in the middle of the flowers using a Lil Inker Designs stitched mat. Hello {New Purple Onion Designs Garden Blooms by Stacey Yacula}

The new Purple Onion Designs  Garden Blooms collection by Stacey Yacula was released on Monday and I wanted to show you another project I created for the release.

I stamped the Veggie Garden image onto a Neenah cardstock piece cut with a Lil Inker Designs stitched mat, masking off the soil line on the right side. With the assistance of a stamp positioner I stamped the shovel from Garden Set No 2 masking the tip of it so that it appeared to be stuck in the soil. I then filled in the landscape lines with a Copic Multiliner pen and colored the images with Copic Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Occasions Sentiment Set directly onto the image panel. After stamping the two smaller images from the Garden Set No 2 set three times onto the kraft background for a visual triangle, I attached the image panel using a layer of craft foam. A trio of enamel dots finished it up.

Products: Purple Onion Designs stamps, Bazzill and Neenah cs, Doodlebug enamel dots, Lil Inker Designs dies, MFT and Memento ink, Copic Markers

TCP Tuesday #314 - Sentiments

We are into the second week of another TCP Tuesday at The Cat's Pajamas with a challenge to create a  project that is sentiment centric. The challenge runs for one more week and The Cat’s Pajamas stamps are not required although we would love to see you use them.

I cut out out a circle from both craft foam and a piece of  white textured card stock and then sandwiched both with a backing of yellow card stock. I stamped two of the flowers from the Sketchy Flowers set using Bright Buttercup and Hawaiian Shores inks onto the edges of the circle. I stamped the sentiment from the Sending You set directly onto the circle backing. I then cut out the Sending sentiment three times from dark gray card stock and layered them together for dimension. I used the same dark gray card stock to add two small strips at the bottom.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, Bazzill, PTI and Simon Says cs, PTI and Simon Says inks

Here are the details:
  1. Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat's Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
