A Holly Jolly Holiday (#christmasinjuly2017)

Summer is a wonderful time of the year but then again so is Christmas so I am doing a Christmas in July series. My goal is to make at least 20 cards this month but I am not going to stress over the goal. The point is to get a jump start on my Christmas cards while enjoying the process. See below on how to participate too.

I cut a white card stock circle using a My Favorite Things Cross-Stitched Circle die, then stamped the image from the Reverse Confetti North Pole Wishes stamp set using vermillion ink. I stamped two of the holly leaves in new leaf ink and one group of berries in pure poppy, cut out with the matching North Pole Wishes dies and then added them to the circle panel. I prepared the background with a strip of patterned paper and card stock at the bottom (which is my go to border) and some garland at the top cut from red card stock using a die from the Gift Card Holder Tag. At the last minute I decided to round the corners on the bottom.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp, PTI cs, Ranger and PTI ink

If you feel like joining me to get a head start on your Christmas cards, please link up below. I would love the inspiration and  promise I will stop by to take a look and comment. If you post to instagram, use #christmasinjuly2017.

  1. Really love the stamping on that circle and the pretty green patterned paper you chose to highlight the bottom. Pretty card.
