The Cat's Pajamas January Release Blog Hop

It is release day at the The Cat's Pajamas! Four new stamps, four new dies and two colors of holeless sequins are available for purchase in The Cat's Pajamas shop. We are celebrating the release with a blog hop. If you arrived here from from our extremely talented guest designer Julee's blog you are in the right place. If not, then please return to Kerry's blog because she is the beginning of the hop.

I have three projects to share with you today.

First up is a card featuring the adorable Don't Be Koi set. I actually trimmed an inch off the bottom of an A2 size to make a smaller card. The patterned paper was cut with the Grass CutUps and applied to a white background. The bunny and pail of hearts were colored with Copic Markers and then fussy cut out. After attaching to the card base with a layer of craft foam, I added the hearts between the bunny ears cut with dies from the Nested Hearts CutUps. I cut the small heart dangling on the fishing pole with a die from the Alpacas CutUps.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, Lawn Fawn dp, PTI cs, PTI and Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Bunny-C00, C1, C3, E40, E41, E42, E44; Fishing Pole-E30, E31; Pail-C00, C1, C3, R32, R35, R37

Next up is a tag I created for a small welcome home gift for someone who just got out of the hospital and loves iced coffee, especially of the flavored variety.

I cut the tag from brown cardstock using a die from the Spring Tag Duo CutUps, then the matted word cut from green and white cardstock using the new Stitched Enjoy CutUps. For the coffee cup, I stamped the top image from the Freshly Brewed Heaven set onto Neenah cardstock using soft stone ink, then cut out with the matching die plus the rest of the coffee cup from cardstock and patterned paper using dies from the Coffee Clatch CutUpsthen attached to the tag using foam tape. A few enamel dots and twine in the tag hole finished it up.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, PTI dp, PTI and MFT cs, Teresa Collins enamel dots, Hemptique twine

One last very small project. I used the tag die from the Holiday Tag Duo CutUps to cut from Neenah cardstock although I shortened it to about two inches long. See, I told you it was small! After stamping the image from the Spit Happens set, I colored with Copic markers and then attached to the small vase using twine. This is also a small gift.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and die, Hemptique twine, Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: YG91, YG93, YG95, R32, R35, BG0000, BG000

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks} Coffee Clatch

I am back with the last day of The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks.  All the new products are in The Cat's Pajamas store now.

We are showcasing the new Coffee Clatch CutUps today. If you love coffee themed projects, you need these!

I started out by preparing the background by using the main die from the Balloon Frame for a cut out on the card base and then backed with pattern paper. I stamped the sentiment inside the frame and added a "coffee" splash from the Watercolor Basics set. I stamped top image from the Freshly Brewed Heaven set onto Neenah cardstock using soft stone ink, then cut out with the matching die plus the rest of the coffee cup from cardstock and patterrned paper using dies from the Coffee Clatch CutUps, then attached to the card using foam tape. A few enamel dots finished up this simple masculine card.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, PTI dp and cs, MME enamel dots, PTI and Simon Says ink

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Round Bubbles CutUps

I am back with another The Cat's Pajamas Sneak PeekWe are showcasing the new Round Bubbles Duo CutUps today. All the new products will be made available for purchase as revealed throughout the week with the full release on January 29.

If you have been following the sneak peeks throughout the week, you have already seen this die but today is devoted to it.

I used my dies in a different way by first cutting a stencil from thin acetate with the bubble portion of the die. After using the outer die from the set to emboss the stitched lines on a blush cardstock stitched panel, I positioned the stencil and applied embellishment mousse with a soft cloth. While the mousse dried I stamped two images from the Spit Happens set and cut out with the matching Alpacas CutUps today. After coloring with Copic markers I inserted the gift image in the llamas "hands" which the die cuts open for you.  The sentiment was stamped using stone ink onto an oval cut with a die from the Framed Up CutUps. A bit of twine tied at the top of the card finished it up. Here is a close up view:

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, Hero Arts and PTI cs, Divine Twine, Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, Reverse Confetti and Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Llama-W00, E81, C00, C1, C3; Gift-BG000, BG01, R11, R13

{The Cats Pajamas Sneak Peek} Freshly Brewed Heaven

Just in case you have noticed, it's been a very long time that I have waited so long in the week to join in on The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks. It's certainly not because I don't love this release because I do. However, personal issues have prevented me from jumping in until now. Let's just say 2019 is not treating us well so far. But we have faith that God will provide better things for us.

WE HEARD YOU so we are going back to the old way of doing things so what is old is new again! That is we will be showcasing a particular product each day rather than featured designers and as an added bonus we are making the items available for purchase as soon as they are revealed with the full release on January 29. In addition, we are going back to an every other month release. This gives your wallet a break but also allows plenty of time to use your newly purchased goodies before we introduce more.

So, as you know if you have followed the previous days, this release consists of four new stamp sets,  four new die sets and two new colors of the holeless sequins you all seem to like so much.

We are showcasing the new Freshly Brewed Heaven set today. This is a super cute coffee set which also includes the matching dies.

I stamped the cup and saucer three times onto Neenah cardstock and then cut out with the matching die from the Coffee Clatch set. The three cups were layered to a stitched linen panel using a combo of glue and foam tape. I stamped the steam image directly onto the panel above two of the cups using soft stone ink. I then cut out the word from yellow cardstock twice using a die from the also new Stitched Enjoy set, then stacked together and attached to the image panel.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, PTI and Reverse Confetti cs, PTI and Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: YG01, YG11, YG23, R22, R24, R27, BG0000, BG000, BG01, BG02, E30, E31
