The Happiest Christmas Ever

Obviously, not much creative is going on my life right now. March has been a very hard month for us. I won't go in to everything because I just don't want to talk or write about it right now. However,  I will say that I am recovering from a cold. No fever but did have a raging sore throat, sinus congestion and some body aches. I am just now getting back to normal but my energy level is quite low.

The only reason you are seeing this card is because I stamped, diecut and colored the images from the My Favorite Things Chill Holiday with Copic markers back in February. I have a few more images ready for another card also. The only stamping I had left do to was the sentiment which was stamped onto pure poppy cardstock using Versamark, then white heat embossed. To assemble the card I cut the linen cardstock background with a stitched rectangle die and I also used the tiny "snow mound" die from the set. I inserted the "candy canes" into the snow mounds, then added all the other pieces with a combo of glue and foam dimensionals for a clean and simple Christmas card.

Products: My Favorite Things stamps and dies, PTI cs, Altenew and Versamark ink, Copic Markers

Psalm 31:25

Good morning. I have a faith based card for a friend who is suffering from very serious health issues.

I stamped Papertrey Ink Psalm Reflections: February using sage ink onto white linen cardstock, cut out with a double stitched oval die then trimmed off to fit the panel. I then stamped the vase and handle from the Vase Collection 13 Mini Stamp Set using stone and london fog ink and cut out and the decorative balls with wheat ink, then cut out with all the matching dies. The greenery came from the older Forest Floor: Winter stamp and die set, stamped with fern and stardust ink. I dry embossed the soft stone background panel using the Spellbinders Dazzling Dots embossing folder.

Products: Papertrey Ink stamps and dies, PTI cs, Spellbinders embossing folder, Memento, Reverse Confetti, The Stamp Market and Concord & 9th ink

Have a great week.

{The Cat's Pajamas} Get Well Soon

Good morning all. The March release of digital products from The Cat's Pajamas is available now.

I combined the image from the new Big Cups and the sentiment from the also new A Cuppa digital stamp sets and printed onto Copic friendly cardstock using Silhouette software, then cut out with a stitched edge circle die. I added a simple patterned paper strip in the middle of the card front, then wrapped dark blue twine around it several times. The image piece was attached with a layer of craft foam for a masculine get well card. A trio of enamel dots provided some finishing touches.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas digital stamps, MFT dp, PTI cs, Doodlebug enamel dots, The Twinery twine, Copic Markers
Copics: Penguin-W00, E81, YR30, YR31, Y38; Cup-B91, B93, B95, B97; Teabag-W00, E81, R20, R24, R27

I don't make masculine type cards nearly enough. It feels good to get one completed. Have a blessed day.
