Happy Thanksgiving {Purple Onion Designs}

It seems like every fall I break out Ginger (raccoon with pumpkin) and this year is no exception.

I stamped the image onto Copic friendly cardstock, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut out. I then stamped the largest image from 2 Cornfields twice, colored with Copics and cut out the panel with a wonky stitched rectangle die for the background. The main image was attached using foam dimensionals. The sentiment from the Sweet Occasions Sentiment Set was stamped onto black cardstock using Versamark, then white heat embossed.

Products: Purple Onion Designs stamps, PTI cs, MFT die, Versamark and Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Raccoon-C1, C3, C5, C9, N1, N5, N7, E81; Scarf-B11, B13, E81; Pumpkin-YR20, YR23, YR24, YR27, E41, E42; Cornstalks-Y11, Y13, Y17, YG61, YG63; Grass-G21, G24

This card is actually a little "busy" for me. I leave the elaborate scenes for my fellow design team members as I am basically a clean and simple card maker.

{The Cat's Pajamas} Get Well Soon

Good morning. I am trying to bet back into card making mode with this masculine get well card.

I printed the image from the Keep Going digital stamp set onto Copic friendly cardstock simply using MS Word then cut out using an older Nestabilities die with some "out of the box" action for the bunny ears. After coloring with Copic markers, I attached to the patterned paper and linen cardstock background using a layer of craft foam. The sentiment is from the Simply Said digital set.

Thinking of You {Purple Onion Designs}

The summer has really slipped by us. My husband just finished up 6 weeks of radiation therapy and frankly we've been preoccupied with the whole healthcare process.  And since we have been so busy we are so behind on everything. The landscaping is out of control except the grass which a very kind neighbor has been mowing and edging for us. We haven't even thought of a vacation and frankly the house could use a good clean! And in the midst of all this my laptop died and I've had to replace and do a restore but some items are still missing. Obviously, crafting has taken a back seat. But.....thanks be to God, Don is now considered cancer free and that is all that really matters.

It seems most of the card making world has moved on to autumn and Christmas already so this will be the last of my cards that even looks remotely summery.

I stamped Garden Bushes from Purple Onion Designs onto Copic friendly cardstock along with the smallest butterfly from the Flora & Fauna set colored with Copic markers. I then masked the two images and added some clouds using a cloud stencil and tumbled glass distress ink. After cutting the panel out with a stitched edge rectangle die, I stamped the sentiment and attached the panel to the card front.

I hope this is the start of crafting more as I have really missed it.
