Today's card features a tag created for Day 1 of Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2015. Now that is a mouthful of challenge! I have my tag placed on a card because I need all the Christmas cards I can get right now. I actually forgot and had this baby glued down before I thought to take a photo of the tag by itself. I was inspired by Carolyn Peeler's tag which featured embossing and watercolors as well as trees.
I failed to write down the inks I used to watercolor piece of Ranger Distress Watercolor cardstock but I know that they were Ranger Distress inks. Once dried I cut out a tag with the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Duo 3 die set. I stamped the two graphic trees from the Hero Arts Joy to the World set with Versamark ink and heat embossed both with Citrron powder with a bit of masking in between. I then stamped the sentiment at the top and heat embossed with Glacier powder. I decorated the trees with Kaisercraft jewels in pink and aqua. I used the same tag die to cut another tag from Berrylicious cardstock and then tied them together with Honeydew twine. I stamped two of the solid stars from the same stamp set directly onto the card base and also heat embossed them before attaching the tag set.
Products: Hero Arts stamps, Ranger Distress Watercolor cs, MFT and PTI cs, The Twinery twine, Kaisercraft jewels, Recollections embossing powders, Pretty Pink Posh die, Versamark ink, Ranger Distress inks

Gift Tags and Final Day of Sale! {Purple Onion Designs}
It is the last day for the annual Purple Onion Designs holiday sale, Sunday, December 6. All stamps are 25% off including the ones in the clearance category.
I created a trio of simple gift tags using images from the Merriness Set and sentiments from the Holiday Marquee Sentiments set. I used the Papertrey Ink Bookmark Die to cut three tags from white Neenah cardstock although I shortened them from the original die size. I then cut two more from PTI Limeade Ice and one from Pure Poppy, making them slightly longer than the white ones. I stamped the sentiments on each white tag using Vermillion, Jellybean and Tuxedo Black inks. After stamping the images I colored all with Copic Markers and then alternated Red Opal Perfect Pearls to the 'O' in Joy, coloring the other dots with a Copic Marker to imitate a wreath. I tied the two tag mates together with red metallic trim. If the Merriness Set is not on your to buy list, it should be!

'Tis the Season
Today's card is for the current Color Throwdown (ctd371) Challenge.
I cut a rectangle using the Lil Inker Designs Stitched die and then cut the gold mirrored chevrons using the Reverse Confetti Triple Chevies dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Seasonal Sentiments set underneath the chevrons. After attaching the piece to the card with craft foam tape, I added a gold and white snowflake cut with a die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflake die set and then matted them together. A scattering of rainstones and black sequins fnished it up for a clean and simple Christmas card. It's actually prettier in real life as I have yet to figure out how to photograph the mirrored cardstock.
Products: Reverse Confetti stamp and die, Michael's mirrored cs, Bazzill cs, PTI cs and Rainstones, Doodlebug sequins, Lawn Fawn die, Simon Says ink

From Our Home to Yours {Purple Onion Designs}
The annual Purple Onion Designs holiday sale runs through Sunday, December 6. All stamps are 25% off including the ones in the clearance category.
I have another project featuring a stamp from the new Stacey Yacula Snowflake Grove collection.
I stamped the Birch House and Stone Path images onto Copics X-Press It cardstock cut with an MFT pierced rectangle die. It was then attached to a patterned paper background with craft foam. The sentiment came from the Snowflake Grove Sentiment set and was stamped directly onto the background panel. After wrapping twine around the matted piece and securing with a button, it was secured to the card base with craft foam. A snowflake cut with a die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflake set and a few enamel dots finished it up.
Products: Purple Onion Designs stamps, Lawn Fawn dp, Divine Twine, PTI button, MME enamel dots, Copic markers
Copics: House-E50, E51, E30, E31, E33, R01, R02, R05, YG0000, YG91, YG93, Y21; Path-C00, E30, E31; Snow-G0000; Shadows-BG0000, BG000, BG70

To: The North Pole
Good morning. I thought it was about time I actually inked up some of the fun Christmas stamps I have purchased in the last couple of months.
I first cut a tag from patterned paper and the tag insert from Ranger Distess Watercolor cardstock using pieces from the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 4 set. I used a Zig Clean Color Brush marker to create a light wash on the tag insert. I then stamped three of the tiny images from the My Favorite Things Winter Wonderland set and cut out with the matching Winter Wonderland Die-namics, coloring all with Copic Markers. The sentiment was stamped onto a cardstock piece and cut out with another die from the Winter Wonderland Die-namics set. I attached all the pieces to the tag using foam tape and then attached the completed tag to the card background using a layer of craft foam placing a strip of silver metallic paper underneath. A few enamel dots finished up a clean and simple Christmas card.
Products: My Favorite Things stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp and enamel dots, Bazzill, MFT and PTI cs, Ranger Watercolor cs, Zig Clean Color Brush marker, Copic Markers
Copics: Snowman-BG0000, BG000; Mailbox-B91, B93, B97, B99
Zig: Turquoise Green
I am submitting this for the current Curtain Call "Dear Santa" Inspiration Challenge.

Sparkle
Today's card is for the WPlus9 Throwback Thursday #9 Challenge and I also generally used the sketch from the current Case this Sketch (CTD150) for the layout.
I used an older WPlus9 Pretty Patches: Tree stamp set for the "throwback" theme. Stamping the tree three times using Simply Chartreuse, Pure Poppy and Hawaiian Shores inks and then cut out with the matching Pretty Patches: Tree Die set. I layered the trio onto a white linen cardstock background, attaching the middle tree with craft foam. I cut the word sparkle with the WPlus9 Sparkle & Shine die set from two layers of plain white cardstock and the top one from silver metallic paper, layering them together for stability. I placed the sentiment underneath the trees and added enamel dots and sequins on the tree centers.
Products: WPlus9 Stamp and die, PTI cs, American Crafts metallic dp, Doodlebug enamel dots, Verve sequins, My Favorite Things dies, PTI inks
It's a busy time of the year for sure but I am trying my best to not stress about all that needs to be done.

The Cat's Pajamas TCP Tuesday Anything Goes Challenge II
It's week 2 of TCP Tuesday at The Cat's Pajamas with an "Anything Goes" challenge. The challenge runs for another week and The Cat’s Pajamas stamps are not required.
I stamped one of the branches from the recently release Wreath Building Kit three times onto a Neenah cardstock circle and then colored with Copic Markers. I then added a flower cut from pattened paper using two dies from the Poinsettias CutUps in the center of the circle. I added a plaid bow cut with the Easy Stitched Bow die and stamped the sentiment from the All is Bright set directly onto the card base.
Products; The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, My Mind's Eye dp, PTI cs, Memento and Simon Says ink, Copic Markers
Copics: YG0000, YG91, YG3, YG95
Here are the details:
- Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat's Pajamas blog as well as on our Facebook page.
