I hope (whatever your beliefs) that the Easter holiday was good for you. We had a great family day with my son Dylan, his wife Tarha and my sweet granddaughter Clara. I think we all had as much fun watching her hunt for eggs as she did looking for them.
So sorry that I have not posted yet this month! Last week just flew by and there just wasn't time to do any crafting in between some medical tests and Easter preparations. April is usually a busy month for us as we get started on some much needed yardwork after the long winter. I am really big on Spring cleaning as well and I've already started. Hopefully I can work in some creative time too though.
My card for today is for the current Sugar Bowl challenge. This week we could use any sketch from previous challenges. I selected this one since I prefer a simpler format and because it allowed the design of the background paper to show more. I offset my image rather than centering it and substituted buttons and the hat in the image for the floral pieces. The stamp is Country Girl from the Home Grown collection for Sugar Nellie. I stamped it with Memento ink onto Prism Simply Smooth Cardstock and then colored with Copic markers. I stamped the hat image again, colored and cut it out, then mounted it to the image with pop dots.
