Welcome to the Day 2 of Sweet November stamp previews for June. These will be available for sale at the All That Scraps store on Sunday, June 5. Todays projects feature "Splash and Wave." Be sure to also click on over to guest designer Kris Palakiko. Amy, the illustrator of the Sweet November line has a another Splash and Wave project to share and also outlines the details on how to win some very generous blog candy just by you leaving comments on the designer's blogs, including mine.
I broke out some more older products for these two little cutie patooties. The background paper is some Club Scrap dp - I added some additional waves with a The Cat's Pajamas stamp and colored with Copics. Of course, my husband told me it looked like sharks in the water. I refuse to believe that - and even if they are sharks- I'm sure they don't eat baby mermaids. After stamping the two mermaids, I colored with Copics and then cut out, positioning them in the waves a bit differently than they were on the stamp. The strips at the top and bottom were cut from the edges of an old Autumn Leaves sheet. I finished it off with a Doodlebug token that has been around a while too.
Products: Sweet November stamp, The Cat's Pajamas stamp, Crate Paper ribbon, Doodlebug token, Kaisercraft pearls, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11; Hair-E53, E55, E57; Tails/Top-BG10, BG11, YG000, YG11, YG13, R00, R01, R02, R05, E51, E51, E53
I'll see you back here tomorrow bright and early for another Sweet November preview.
