Sweet November Preview Day 1 - Hazel with Webster and Thurston

Welcome to the first of three days of Sweet November stamp previews for September. If you love Halloween as much as I do, you will love these images. I had a blast making projects for this release. Today's projects feature "Hazel with Webster" and "Thurston."

First up is a cutie patootie witch, Hazel with her spidey friend Webster. I had some of the fabulous The Girl's Paperie paper left over from last year (so sad that company is no more) so I colored up Hazel to match it. The orange trim is some older Little Yellow Bicycle and the cool paper doily is new from Martha Stewart. The ribbon is from my stash.

Products: Sweet November stamp, The Girl's Paperie and Little Yellow Bicycle dp, Hero Arts sentiment stamp, Martha Stewart paper doily, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11; Hair/Spider/Shoes-C3, C5, C7, C9; Dress/Hat-C00, C1, E50; Pumpkin-YR12, YR18, YR04, YR23, YG23, YG25

Thurston the vampire is next and I created a night scene for him using the new and fabulous My Mind's Eye Mischievous 6x6 pad. I computer generated the sentiment, printed onto plain white cardstock and then cut it out "tombstone" style, distressing the edges with ink. The felt crow and ghost joining the night party are Making Memories.

Hazel actually looks quite beautiful on your card, something I didn't know she could pull off, the muted color palette is totally gorgeous and yet still a bit spooky! :)

  14. Hi Nancy. I love how you have made Hazel look like her hair is wavy. So adorable and great coloring. I have to say that I love your papers as well. Really cute and perfect with your little Hazel. I also just love how you have made it look like Thurston is either trying to scare the crow or the crow has frightened him. lol.... Love the papers here as well. You have a great way on making your cards. I really love both of them. Hugs, Lisa G
