TGIF!!
Today's card is for the April Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try (#11). I changed it up a bit by making the image panel from a rectangle to a circle because I couldn't resist using one of my favorite Reverse Confetti stamp sets Happy Harbor. I first made a life saver buoy by nesting two Spellbinder Nestabilities together and then cutting, wrapping four navy strips of cardstock around the "buoy". I then stamped the images, coloring with Copics where needed and then fussy cut out. I created a small scene inside the buoy with the stamped images adding a wave using a Taylored Expressions die. To create the background strips I stamped two strips of Stampin' Up cardstock with matching ink (Midnight Muse and Gumball Green) using the Whole Lotta Dots set. The third patterned paper strip came from the My Mind's Eye Oxford Lane pad. I then stamped the sentiment and the row of anchors in the lower right corner of the card using the same inks as before. Lastly, I added the yellow heart cut with a piece from the Love Note die set.
