{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks and TCP Tuesday #355 Challenge Reminder} Year of the Pig and Rectangular Stamp

Welcome to the first of seven days of sneak peeks for the latest The Cat's Pajamas release. This release consists of five new stamp sets, six new die sets and two new colors of sequins. 

Today we are showcasing the Year of the Pig set as well as the Rectangular Stamp die. This set is has such sweet images and fun and funky sentiment fonts.

I stamped three of the pigs onto a Neenah cardstock piece using a bit of masking, then colored with Copic markers. After adding a patterned paper strip at the bottom of the card front, I stamped the sentiments from the set plus another from the Simply Said set. I framed the image by using the Rectangular Stamp die to cut from patterned paper as well as a layer of craft foam. for dimension. I added several sequins, stacking some of them as a final sparkly touch. 

We are also about half way through the March TCP Tuesday challenge which is to create an envelope to match your card. There is plenty of time to participate and there is a $50 gift voucher to the TCP store. That sure would come in handy for this new release!

I again went very simple. I used some Post It tape to help create a border line on the envelope, then sponged Spun Sugar distress ink. I stamped yet another pig as well as the sentiment three times using two different red/pink colors plus black.
