{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Hello Gillfriend and Porthole Die

Welcome to the first of seven days of sneak peeks featuring the new The Cat's Pajamas release for May 28. There are so many fun images and dies in this collection (seven stamps sets and seven dies). The products are released as sneak peeked but special discounting is available at the official release date.

Today we are featuring the new Hey Gillfriend stamp set along with the new Porthole CutUps. After stamping one of the mermaids I colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut out. I then went to work on the card front by using the center of the Porthole die to cut from a stitched Bristol Smooth cardstock panel, then lightly sponged ink around it using tumbled glass, antique linen and berry sorbet inks. I create a thin frame around the cutout by sandwiching two stitched circle dies before cutting from berrylicious cardstock. I sponged the bottom of the panel using antique linen and gathered twigs inks. I then stamped the coral in berry sorbet, seaweed in simply chartreuse and the sand with fine linen inks, all images also from the new Hey Gillfriend stamp set. The sentiment was stamped onto a fishtail banner using berry sorbet and sponged around the edges with tumbled glass and added the mermaid with a layer of craft foam. I created the shaker filling with the really pretty By the Sea Confetti Mix.

I decided to not stop there and used the fun new Spiral PopUp die on the inside. I used tomorrow's sneak peak stamp set Henna Tattoos to stamp onto cardstock to create a tone on tone look for a bit of texture, then cut out the spiral.  After attaching to the inside of the card with glue dots I added some of the small images from the new Hey Gillfriend. It is simple touch yet is a sweet little surprise when the card is opened.
