Sitting Here {Purple Onion Designs}

Good morning. Today's card features stamps illustrated by Stacey Yacula for Purple Onion Designs.

Using masking, I stamped the Beach Chair, Palm Tree and Sand Dunes.onto a Neenah cardstock stitched panel.  The sentiment from the Essential Thoughts Sentiment Set was stamped directly onto the image panel. I then masked the images again and used a stencil and tumbled glass distress ink to create the clouds. After coloring the images with Copic markers, I matted the panel to a striped patterned paper background. I cut the tiny from kraft cardstock and wrote the additional sentiment on to it.

I wish I was sitting in a spot like this card scene. If I am going to be burning up from this unrelenting heat wave, I think I should at least be doing it on a beach.
