*New* The Merriest Little City {Purple Onion Designs}

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Stacey Yacula (@staceyyacula) has illustrated her annual holiday collection for Purple Onion Designs. As per usual, it's total cuteness overload. 

Todays card features Cleo & Archie out skating. And although the theme this year is city I decided to place them out in the countryside with this simple scene. The image was stamped onto Copic friendly cardstock, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut out. To create the background I blended several medium to dark blue inks onto the stitched edge panel, then splashed on some "snow" using a combo of white acrylic paint and water. The sentiment from the also new Merriest City Sentiment Set was stamped directly onto the "ice". And I added a trio of trees using the new Mini Evergreen Tree Set to the background.
