Another Graduation Card

We received a late graduation announcement so I had to put together a quick card.  I wanted to use the lime green report card piece from the Jillibean Soup Alphabet Soup collection so I went in search of something appropriate for the background.  I orginally had in mind something from the older Ki Memories collections in black and white.  I never found what I was looking for (note to self: patterned paper needs a major reorganization) but I did find a very old sheet of ProvoCraft paper with colorful numbers on it.  I thought it fit the school theme I was going for.  Of course this meant I had a lot more colors to deal with but it actually fits the personality of the recipient so it all worked out.  I stamped my cute Sugar Nellie image with Memento ink onto PTI cardstock, then colored it up with Copic markers.

Products: Sugar Nellie stamp, Jillibean Soup and ProvoCraft pp, PTI cs, sentiment stamp and ribbon, Stampin' Up punch, Copic Markers

Copic Markers: Skin-R01, E02, R20; Hair-E55, E57, W2; Dress and Stockings-R81, R83, R85; R22, R46, YG01, YG23, YG25; Star-YR12, YR16

Have a fun and safe holiday weekend!

  1. Cute card! You'd never know that was "old" paper; it makes a great background for your image.
