Baby Yourself

Today's card feature's a design I've actually had in my head for a while and this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge to "create a scene" provided the impetus to get it done. I stamped the My Favorite Things P.I. Rinse Lather Repeat image with Memento ink onto Bazzill Simply Smooth cardstock and then colored with Copic Markers. I cut it out trimming closely around the edge and then applied a combination of Polar White Flower Soft and Ranger Frosted Lace Stickles to represent the bubbles in the tub. After completing my main image I then used a Spellbinder's Nestabilities to cut out the felt to represent the rug and Quickutz dies to create the frame around the sentiment as well as the vase and flower. The chair is a digital stamp by Louby Lou.

Products: My Favorite Things stamp, Louby Lou digital stamp, Making Memories dp, PTI felt and cs, Quickutz dies, Flower Soft, Ranger Stickles, Copic Markers

Copics: Skin-E0000, E00, R20; Hair-E51, E53, E55; Bathtub-W00, W1; Bubbles-RV00; Shower Cap-RV00, RV10, RV11; Sponge/Duck-Y21, Y23, YR04; Chair-BG0000, BG10, BG11

Actually, a bubble bath sounds like a good idea right now.

  1. Nancy,
This is wonderful! I love how you used all the different types of paper to create a fabulous scene (carpet, rug, lamg, etc.) What a great idea you had brewing!
