{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Key and Heart Background

***This is my second post for the day. Please scroll down for my MarkerPop/All That Scraps Blog Hop post. ***

I'm back with the last day of TCP sneak peeks. Today we are featuring the Lock and Heart Background. You may have caught glimpses of this background stamp in some previous preview days. The stamp is rubber due to its detail (all the other stamps in this release are clear acrylic).

The minute I saw this stamp I thought it would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary card, especially since the traditional June weddings will be here before you know it. I started out by stamping the image onto white cardstock using Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. I did the same for the sentiment which is actually from the Key Phrases set which was previewed last week. I then cut the card base using the largest die in the Spellbinders Nestabilities Lacey Squares set. I cut the background prepared earlier to fit and added a strip of gray and white Echo Park paper with a border cut with the Queen of Hearts CutUps and a strip of jewels. The flourish was cut with the also new Heart Swirl CutUps and layered over the top of the sentiment strip and set with a Webster's Pages Sparkler. The card is small at 4.25 inches.
