{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek and TCP Tuesday} Lean On Me

Welcome to Day 1 of The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks. Over the next seven days The Cat Pack will be showcasing seven new stamp sets and three new dies.

We are kicking things off with a TCP Tuesday challenge. Julie is our hostess and she has challenged us to make a card to encourage a friend.

Today we are debuting the Lean On Me set which is perfect for Julie's challenge. I started out by creating an old school shaker using a piece from the new Framed Up 2 CutUps. What is old is new again! I use to make these all the time back when I was scrapbooking. Although now looking back I can't figure out why as who shakes their scrapbooks? They certainly make a lot more sense on a small card! I stamped one of the sentiments onto the background piece adding some old Doodlebug sequins and a small wood heart for the "shakables."

I then colored P.J. with Copic Markers, paper piecing the chest and then fussy cutting out. I "leaned" him onto the shaker securing with dimensional dots. All the patterned paper came from the Fancy Pants Good Life pad and I added a heart cut with the Heart Trio CutUps topped with a tiny paper button cut with the Button CutUps and tied with Linen Thread placed on the shaker edge.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Fancy Pants dp, Acetate, Linen Thread, Doodlebug sequins, Studio Calico wood veneer heart, Copic Markers
Copics: E50, E51, E53, W5, W00, E81
