Purple Onion Designs New Stacey Yacula "Sweet Occasions" (and a Giveaway)

I am happy to be part of the announcement that Purple Onion Designs will be releasing a new Stacey Yacula Studio collection on Monday, May 25! The collection is titled Sweet Occasions since it covers almost every holiday or special occasion throughout the whole year. The collection consists of 25 images and a sentiment set with 20 different sentiments.

Would you like to win some or all of these stamps? Of course you do! For a chance to win the entire Sweet Occasions set, leave a comment on the Purple Onion Design blog and/or Stacey Yacula's blog by Sunday at 12:00 AM EDT.

For a chance to win the stamps on the cards I am showing you today, leave a comment here on my blog by Sunday at 12:00 AM EDT.  A winner will be randomly selected and announced on Monday. The winning set of stamps from this blog include a mix of the new and older collections, new True and Blue (Ducklings), PondClouds and new Cinnamon.

Now that I have established how to win, here are my cards for the day.

I stamped the Pond image onto Neenah cardstock and cut out a portion of it with a My Favorite Things Pierced die. I also stamped the Clouds at the top, then colored the image with Copic Markers. The new True and Blue ducklings were stamped onto Copics X-Press It cardstock, colored with Copics and then fussy cut out. I attached them to the pond scene using dimensional dots. and added a flourish cut with The Cat's Pajamas Heart Swirl CutUps. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Occasion Sentiments set onto patterned paper then cut out with a Stampin' Up punch. The image and sentiment piece were both attached to the background panel with foam tape. A scattering of enamel dots provided the finishing touch. All the patterned paper came from the Echo Park For the Record 2 pad.

Products: Purple Onion Designs stamps, Echo Park dp, Neenah and PTI cs, MFT cs and die, Doodlebug enamel dots, The Cat's Pajamas die, Copic Markers

For my second card, the cardbase was cut from Blueberry cardstock and the circle from white cardstock using a Lil Inker Designs stitched die. I clustered together leaves at the bottom cut from patterned papers from the Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather pad using dies from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves set. Cinnamon was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut out, and then nestled in the leaves. I stamped the sentiment onto a small tag using Blueberry ink, added a small Hemptique cord bow, placing a couple more small leaves underneath it. A scattering of Doodlebug enamel dots finished it up.
