Today is review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining other ATS design team members in a wrap up of the May release.
I have another card featuring Berry Beatrice. My last project using this stamp was more pastel in nature so I wanted to use brighter colors this time around for a more berry-licious look. I paired this little cutie up with some older patterned papers from the Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety and Odds and Ends pads. The strawberries and blooms were cut with the Strawberry Cutter set. The sentiment is from the AmyR Heart-y Sayings set.
Products: C.C. Designs stamps and Cutters, Cosmo Cricket dp, Kaisercraft pearls, May Arts ribbon, PTI die, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11, R20; Hair-E30, E33, E35, E37, E39; Berries-R22, R24, R27, YG0000, YG01, YG13; Clothing-Y11, Y13, Y17, E81, E53, E55, E57; Grass-YG61, YG63, YG67; Shadows-G0000

Let's Go (TCP Tuesday 212)
Good morning. Today's card is for TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES212) which is technique challenge from our hostess, Julie to include paper pleating on our projects. Our fellow Cat Packer, Amy Rohl has a tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers if you need a refresher.
I used a combination of Copics and paper piecing on my image from the Take Off set which is one of very favorite bunny images. My layout is based on May's Sketch for You to Try. Nothing like waiting to the last minute, huh? The paper is all from the My Mind's Eye Away We Go 6x6 pad. I kept the embellishments simple with a buttton and linen thread.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp, My Mind's Eye dp, Linen Thread, PTI button, Copic Markers
Copics: E50, E51, E53, W00, E81, C3, C5, C7, E07, E09
All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found on Alma’s blog. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week) and possibly even Swanky Stamper of the Month.

Sugarplums Beach Kit Review
Today is review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining the rest of the design team members in showing your more projects using Sugarplums Beach Kit available only at All That Scraps. The kit is a set of nine stamps which includes four Sugarplum girls in various poses and is the usual beautifully deep etched red rubber. The set comes attached to gray ez-mount foam, ready to be cut out. As an added bonus the kit is 20% for two more days! After the 31st the kit will revert back to regular price.
Today's card features another Sugarplum girl. I combined her with the crab which is another image in the kit. Both were colored with Copic markers and then fussy cut out. The patterned paper is all from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist 6x6 pad. The sentiment is a combination of stamping and letter stickers which I split between the background and a piece cut with the largest of the Ticket Cutters. And with the completion of this card, I have used every stamp in the kit! For a refresher, see my other kit projects here, here and here.

A Snowy Christmas
Happy Memorial Day to all my stateside readers! I hope you are having a wonderful day filled with family and fun.
Today's card is for this weeks My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch challenge (MFTWSC73). It seems odd to be posting a Christmas card on a day that often signals the unofficial beginning of summer. But these sketches are a great way to jump start the Christmas card making process as one can never start too early. I started out by stamping and coloring the Pure Innocence Holiday Hugs image, then cutting out with Spellbinders Nestabilities. I added a touch of stickles here and there for a bit of sparkle. I took the liberty of shifting around some of the elements on the sketch and also made it into a square. The paper is from an older Crate Paper collection.
Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics, Crate paper dp, American Crafts ribbon, Ranger Stickles, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Snowman-BG0000, BG70, Y15, Y35, Y38; Hat-BG10, BG11, BG72; Scarf-R22, R24, R27, R46, E81, 0; Shadows-B0000
I hope to see you back here tomorrow for the last of my projects using the C.C. Designs Sugarplum Beach kit.

After the Storm
Happy Friday to you! For those in the states, I hope you have a great Memorial Day holiday.
I haven't been doing that many of My Favorite Things sketch challenges this year due to time constraints so I am trying to do a bit of catchup here and there. Only if I like the sketch of course. Today's card is based on an older challenge, long since past the deadline (MFTWSC68). I used the My Favorite Things Umbrella Stamp and Die set for a sympathy card. The paper is all from the Echo Park This and That 6x6 pad since I wanted it to have a masculine look and feel. I converted the sketch to an A2 as opposed to a square. This card was mailed this week. See, I do use the cards I make!
Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics set; Echo Park dp, PTI button
That's it for the day. I hope you have a fabulous, fun and safe weekend.

Catch a Dream
Today's card is one that I shared at The Cat's Pajamas pajamas party on Splitcoaststampers back in April but not here on the blog.
After stamping the Wish image onto Copics X-Press It cardstock, I cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilties and colored with Copic Markers. I stamped more stars all over the row of clouds cut with the Cloud Border CutUps so Mr. Bunny has plenty of stars to catch.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas Stamp and CutUps, Lily Bee dp, Doodlebug pearls and buttons, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Moon-W00, E81, Stars-YR30, YR31; Bunny-BG0000, BG10, RV00, RV11; Shadows-B0000

You Make Me Smile (TCP Tuesday 211)
Good morning. Today's card is for TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES211) which is another inspiration challenge from our hostess, Jen.
I really like the organic nature of the inspiration so I decided to use the Bloom set from the latest TCP release. After coloring the image with Copic markers, I fussy cut it out and attached it to a background piece cut with the Lacy Floral Doily CutUps. The bottom border was cut with the Queen of Hearts CutUps. The paper is from the Lily Bee Victoria Park 6x6 pad.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and CutUps, Seam Binding, Linen Thread, Lily Bee dp, PTI button, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunny-W00, E40, E41, E42, B000, B01; Flowers/Ribbon/Tissue-G0000, G12, G14, G07, B000, B01

Handmade (and a Sunday driveby)
Today's card is for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch (MFTWSC72). I don't post often on Sunday's but it's been a while since I've had a chance to join in. I've been doing a lot of design team work that has just not allowed time for anything else creatively speaking. So yesterday, I spent a couple of hours making this card as well as going back to a previous sketch. I'll post the second one later in the week.
I stamped the dress form from the MFT Sew Nifty set onto patterned paper and then cut it out with the matching Die-namics. I decided to dress it up by adding a tulle skirt with a ribbon waistband. I wrapped a Wilton paper doily around the panel and then attached the stamped image to it, adding a miniature thread spool which has a Dritz button stickpin in the middle. The sentiment was stamped onto one of the mini doilies cut with the MFT Mini Doily Circle Die-namics. The paper is all from the new My Mind's Eye Indie Chic (Nutmeg) 6x6 pad. And of course I had to add a bit of stitching since it was a sewing themed card.
Products: My Favorite Things Stamp and Die-namics, My Mind's Eye dp, Maya Road mini thread spools, Wilton paper doily, PTI buttons, Dritz stickpin
And for a Sunday driveby:
Have a great rest of the weekend. As always, thank you for stopping by.

And for a Sunday driveby:
- We lost a friend to melanoma over a week ago. Cancer sucks
- We drove to Nashville and back (7 hours roundtrip), several hours at the funeral home and service, all in the same day. Let's just say we aren't as young as we use to be
- Every time we get a bit of extra money, something tears up. Both of our cars have needed work to the tune of around $2500
- We didn't have much of a winter and had such a short spring that it seems like we skipped a season and went directly into summer
- I have planted a mini garden on my deck. Mainly herbs and one lone tomato plant
- The hummingbirds appear to be unimpressed with said garden as they have not shown up yet
- Other than the funeral trip we've really been somewhat home bound due to Don's shoulder surgery and subsequent physical therapy
Have a great rest of the weekend. As always, thank you for stopping by.

I love the beach so I was thrilled to work with these cute images. I started out by stamping five images from the kit, coloring with Copic Markers. I paper pieced a portion of the umbrella, attaching the top piece with dimensional dots. After fussy cutting the images, I attached to a Side Step card base (instructions at Splitcoast Stampers). I did reverse it so that the main panel was on the right rather than the usual left. As you can see, the sand, the sea and the sky are represented. And yes, my sand is white. Our beaches on the gulf coast are "sugar white" and so very beautiful. I used one more small stamp from the kit - the grains of sand on the beach, stamping very lightly with Memento Sand ink. The sentiment is from the AmyR Be Happy set.

Sunshine (TCP Tuesday 210)
Today's card is for this week's TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES210) which is one of Leigh's fun sketches.
When I saw the hot air balloon on the Simple Stories Summer Fresh, I knew I wanted to use it with the Away We Go set. I colored and then fussy cut the image and attached it to the main panel which I pieced together with the title strips of the patterned paper. I used one of the clouds cut with the Cloud Border CutUps as the accent piece.
Products: The Cat's Pajama stamp and CutUps, May Arts ribbon, PTI button, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, Copic Markers
Copics: Bunny-W00, E81, BG70, BG0000; Hot Air Balloon-G40, G82, G85, YR30, YR31, YR23, R22, R24, R27, B91, B93, B97, B99, E40, E41

I Love You Bunches (TCP Tuesday 209)
Today's card is for this week's TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES209). Susan is our hostess this week with a Stamp/CutUps challenge. Since it is the month of May, Susan wants us to any stamp set that has an image within it that starts with the letter
"M" for May. And for the CutUps part of the challenge, to use the Pennant Die set.
I decided to use the Go Bananas stamp set since it includes monkeys which meets the "m" requirement. I paired him up with some older Doodlebug paper. I used the small pennants included in the Pennant CutUps set to create a banner, breaking up the sentiment across the three pennants. I used the small icons from the PinwheelsCutUps set attached with tiny brads for embellishments and added felt hearts cut from the Heart Trio CutUps.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Linen Thread, Doodlebug dp, PTI felt, Recollections mini brads, Bazzill Basics embossing folder, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Monkey-BV00, BV02, BV04, W00, W1, W2; Shadows-W00, E81

C.C. Designs Review - Berry Beatrice
Today is review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining the rest of the design team members in showing your more projects using the May Release stamps.
Today's card features the new Beatrice collection. These little girls are absolutely precious and I have to say you will love next month's version too. I colored Berry Beatrice with Copic Markers as per usual and cut out the image with Spellbinders Nestabilities. The sentiment is also new from the Berry Logos Sentiment set, cut with the Logo Circle Cutter. I covered up part of the sentiment with a felt strawberry cut with the Strawberry Cutters. After cutting out the strawberry, I sewed some simple french knots on top as well as in the center of the strawberry bloom. The small green felt piece in the flower center was cut from the Mistletoe Cutters. The patterned paper is mostly from the Echo Park Graceful 6x6 pad with a bit of My Mind's Eye (striped).

Drinking of You (TCP Challenge 208)
Today's card is for this week's TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES208). Lori is our hostess this week with a fabulous color challenge.
Since the colors said Cinco de Mayo I got a little scrappy with this one. I actually used four different stamp sets and two CutUps to create the scene. I created a tiki bar by replacing Sprinkle in the Gimme Some Sugar
set with the bunny from the Aye, Aye Captain set. To create the "grass" roof of the the tiki hut, I used the Pom Pom Flower CutUps. After die cutting, I cut the piece right down the middle lengthwise with scissors. I then cut one of the sides into three seperate pieces graduating in size to create rows, curling up the ends for texture. I placed the bunny portion behind the bar and gave him a little salt, lime and tequila from the Hola Tequila Stamp set for a a te-killya-shot. The sentiment came from the Toni's Tea Set and I stamped it onto a piece from the Circus Panels CutUps.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and CutUps, Linen Thread, Echo Park, Jillibean Soup and My Mind's Eye dp, PTI button, Copic markers
Copics: Bunny-E50, E51, E53, E55, E57; Hat-R22, R24, R27, YG13, YG15; Drink/Salt/Lime-W00, E81, C00, C3, C5, YG21, YG93, YG95

Sweet November - Adele
It's day three of May Sweet November previews of the Garden Gnomes collection. Today the Sweet November is featuring "Adele." In addition, my fellow All That Scraps design team members are featuring the various images from Garden Gnomes collection on the All That Scraps blog today.
Adele was stamped into Copics X-Press It, cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities with some out of the box action then colored with Copic Markers. I stamped the mouse/nut portion of the image again and after coloring with Copics, I fussy cut it out, superimposing it over the original image with dimensional dots. The paper is all from the Fancy Pants Be You paper pad. I added a couple of rolled roses cut with My Favorite Things Die-namics layering them onto leaves cut with the C.C. Designs Leafy Branch Cutters. I think this has a Mary Engelbreit look to it.
I hope you have enjoyed the previews from the Sweet November team. This collection along with the new C.C. Designs stamps and dies will be available for purchase at the All That Scraps store tonight, May 3 at 8 pm CDT. Be sure to also click on over to my fellow Sweet November design team member Marion and also to our special guest designer Kadie. Amy, the Sweet November artist has a card to share with you and also outlines the details on how to win some blog candy which includes the stamp we are all using today. All you have to do is leave comments on our various blogs.
You will also see this card along with many more of the Sweet November May release on the All That Scraps blog today so please stop by there to take a look.

C.C. Designs Preview - Gnome
****Please scroll to the next post for my Sweet November preview****
Today the All That Scraps design team members are previewing another new line from C.C. Designs, Mashi's Muffins. My card feature Gnome.
I added a little pond for Gnome to catch that fish in by first stamping the gnome image, masking and then stamping the pond from a stamp set from another manufacturer. I cut the image out with Spellbinders Nestabilities with some out of the box action for the water portion. I wanted the card to be bright and fun so I used papers from one of last year's My Mind's Eye Lime Twist pads. I stamped the sentiment from the Amy R Be Happy Sentiment Set directly onto the main image panel. Since the colors were so bright I decided to keep the embellishments simple by just adding a few buttons tied with twine.
Products: C.C. Designs stamps, My Mind's Eye dp, My Favorite Things stamp (pond), PTI buttons, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
This collection will be available for purchase at the All That Scraps store Thursday, May 3 at 8 pm CDT. Be sure to check out the All That Scraps blog for even more previews.

Sweet November - Elsie
It's day two of May Sweet November previews of the Garden Gnomes collection. Today we are featuring "Elsie."
After stamping Elsie, I colored her up with Copics trying to make it appear that she was bathed in sunlight and then I fussy cut her out. I paired her up with some old Sweetwater patterned papers, a favorite from my scrapbooking days. I used several new C.C. Designs Cutters, the Fence and Grass and Flower borders to create a scene. I added the doily in the background for a bit of frilliness and the metal badge from the same paper collection to act as the sentiment.
This collection will be available for purchase at the All That Scraps store Thursday, May 3 at 8 pm CDT. Be sure to also click on over to my fellow design team member Marion and also to our special guest designer Kadie. Amy, the Sweet November artist has a card to share with you and also outlines the details on how to win some blog candy which includes the stamp we are all using today. All you have to do is leave comments on our various blogs.
I hope to see you back here tomorrow for another Sweet November preview. I will also have a C.C. Designs preview later on today.
