Wow, August was a busy month creatively speaking. I'm hoping to slow it down a bit in September. That being said, I will have lots of projects for you over the next week between C.C. Designs/Sweet November previews starting Monday, September 2 and then right on into a guest design stint for Reverse Confetti starting Thursday, September 5.
Today's card is for this week's There She Goes challenge which was a sketch. I was happy to get a chance to use the There She Goes Dream in Color set as was languishing around in my un-inked bag. I paired it up with one of my many new pads from Glitz Design, Finnley. Holy smokes - I love this pad. So colorful it makes me smile just flipping through it. After coloring with Copic Markers, I fussy cut out using a wooden skewer to curl up the edges.
Products: There She Goes stamps, Glitz Design dp, Darice sequins, Memento and Stampin' Up inks, Copic Markers
Copics: YG0000, YG01, YG03, N1, N3, N5, N7, R32, R35, R37, BG0000, BG10, BG11, G12, G14, G17

Sweet November Review - Frannie and Frankie
It's review day on the C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps blog and I am joining other members of the design team in showing you more projects using the August release stamps. We are concentrating on the Sweet November line this time around.
Today's card features Sweet November Frannie and Sweet November Frankie out on a color coordinated fright night date! After coloring with Copic Markers, I fussy cut them out. I cut the image panel with a My Favorite Things Stax die, embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing folder and then added the iron gate cut with the C. C. Designs Witches Fence die. I added a small punched heart with a jewel onto the gate since Frannie and Frankie are a couple. I placed them on the image panel using pop dots for dimension and definition. The background panel came from a Bella Blvd collection from couple of years ago and I cut the cloud from the leftover scraps which was also attached with pop dots. A smattering of My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots and jewels finished things up.
Products: Sweet November stamps, C.C. Designs Cutters, Bella Blvd dp, Kaisercraft jewels, My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-G20, G40, G43; Hair-W00, E81, W1, W2, W5, W7 (Frannie), N1, N3, N5, N7 (Frankie); Clothing-BG10, BG11, BG34, V01, V12, V15, V17, C1, C5, C7, N3, N5, N7

Today's card is for the week 4 of the

I combined it with papers from the Glitz Design Unchartered Waters 6x6 pad. I highlighted the image panel with a flourish cut with The Cat's Pajamas Heart Swirl CutUps and two hearts cut with My Favorite Things Die-namics. For the final touches I added a Prima Center and a couple of buttons.
Products: Verve stamp, Glitz dp, PTI buttons, Prima center, My Favorite Things Die-namics, The Cat's Pajamas CutUps, Memento ink

The Cat's Pajamas New Release Blog Hop and TCP Tuesday
It is release day for The Cat's Pajamas! All seven of the new stamp sets and three fabulous new Cutups dies are available now in The Cat's Pajamas shop.
Since it is release day that also means a blog hop.I hope you arrived here from Kelli's blog. KJ was our super creative June Swanky Stamper. If you did not get here via KJ's blog, head on over to Alma's blog to start at the beginning.
My card today is pulling double duty as it is also for the August TCP Tuesday challenge which is to design a "tall" card. Full details are on the Dancing in Pajamas blog as well as the link to add your project. Hurry as you only have three more days to get your card in the running for Swanky Stamper of the Month. We would love to have you join us for the next release!
Today's card is a companion to the gift card holder I featured on Wednesday's TCP sneak peek. I stamped the sentiment (which is oh so true) from the fabulous new Sassy Birthday set onto cardstock cut with a piece from the new Framed Up CutUps. I stamped the line underneath the sentiment with hot pink ink and added a small rhinestone in the center of it. The banner across the top was cut using the pretty new Bitty Banners CutUps. The patterned paper is all from the Fancy Pants Wonderful Day 6x6 pad. Easy and fun!
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and CutUps, Fancy Pants dp, Kaisercraft jewels, Memento and MFT inks
I hope you have enjoyed all the previews, chatting and the shopping! To continue the blog hop, please pop on over to Joyce's blog. Joyce was our August Swanky Stamper and I know she has something fabulous to show you.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Lickable
Welcome to the last of The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks for this release! Today we are featuring the new Lickable set.
The big eared bunny must be good at weight mangement because so far he has enjoyed a cake, a cupcake and now some ice cream scoops. I added an additional stack of scoops to his already overflowing cone, then colored up with Copic Markers and fussy cut out. I attached him to a circle cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities and then placed everything against a background cut with the awesome new Chevron CutUps. Seriously, I love this thing - it makes for a bold or a subtle background like you see on my card. I the paper and the smattering of enamel dots are part of the My Mind's Eye Cut and Paste "Adorbs" collection.

There is no camping in my past nor in my future for that matter but for some reason I love camping/RV type images. Go figure! I stamped the sentiment onto another piece cut with the Framed Up CutUps, I surrounded the images with papers from the Echo Park Happy Camper 6x6 pad. {The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek} At Your Service
I'm back with another TCP Sneak Peek. Today we are introducing At Your Service.
I stamped the big bear image selecting the soup image for a get well card and then cut out with one of the pieces from the new Framed Up CutUps with a bit of "out of the box" action. After cutting the largest piece for a mat, I flipped it upside down before securing to the card background. The new Framed Up CutUps are a "must have!" I have used them a lot with my preview projects. I added the ribbon bow and then stamped the sentiment onto a fishtail tag shape, securing to the bow with with a red safety pin. A smattering of buttons completed the design. The patterned papers are older Teresa Collins from my scrapbooking days.

Shore Do Love You
I created this card a month ago and even had a draft post for it too so I don't know how I've managed not to get it posted until now.
I used one of my favorite Reverse Confetti stamp sets, Happy Harbor. I stamped the whale image with Memento Nautical Blue and the fish with MFT Wild Cherry ink, fussy cutting them out. I cut the image panel with Spellbinders Nestabilites and added a wave cut with the Taylored Expressions Wave die. I then stamped the mini banner with Fresh Ink Birch, curving the the image before stamping and placed the aforementioned fishy images. I stamped the compass with Wild Cherry and cut with another Nestie circle and the sentiment onto a piece cut with My Favorite Things Die-namics. I attached everything to the embossed background panel. Brads, strips of patterned paper, a button and some sequins completed the look. All the patterned paper came from the Carta Bella Beach Boardwalk 6x6 pad which has been a favorite this summer,
Products: Reverse Confetti stamps, Carta Bella dp, PTI button, Studio Calico sequins, Fresh and Memento inks, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, My Favorite Things Die-namics and ink, Taylored Expressions die, Spellbinders Nestabilities
And speaking of Reverse Confetti....did you see that I was selected for the August Sketch For To Try? I won the entire new release which, for your information, is fabulous (thanks Jen!). I'll be participating in the sneak peeks which will start on September 5. I better get busy, huh?! I'm going to be a golf widow today so I'm planning on stampy time.
I've had a two day break from the TCP sneak peeks but I'll be back for the rest of them starting tomorrow (Saturday). Have a great weekend

Ecclesiastes 3:11
Good morning. Summer has returned after a brief (and unsual) cool period. I don't mind though because I love summer and I don't really
want it to end.
Today's card is for week 3 of the August Viva la Verve sketch challenges. I am partial to the Verve bible verse stamps and stamped Ecclesiastes 3:11 with white pigment ink onto black cardstock cut with a Magnolia die and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I didn't bother cleaning up any of the stray powder since the chalkboard look is so big now. I then stamped the Fringe Flower Plain Jane image onto Copics X-Press It cardstock, colored with Copics and then fussy cut out. I created the panels using a combination of Echo Park and Lily Bee patterned paper, converting the sketch to an A2 size. The flower was attached with pop dots for added dimension. A ribbon bow and a few sequins finished things up.
Products: Verve stamps, Echo Park and Lily Bee dp, My Favorite Things Die-namics and ribbon, Copic Markers
Copics: BG0000, BG10, BG11, G00, G12, G14, G07, N1, N3, N5, N7
Have a great day. I'll have another TCP sneak peek on Saturday.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Sassy Birthday
Are you ready for another The Cat's Pajamas sneak peek?? Even though today's project is a small one I managed to used the new Sassy Birthday stamp set, plus all three of the new CutUps!
I first cut the gift card envelope using the Gift Card Envie CutUps and then decorated with buttons, ribbon and stamps. I used the Coolvetica Alphabet to stamp the recipient's name on a fishtail tag. To create the gift enclosure I first cut the ticket shape using the new Framed Up CutUps from plain white cardstock. I used the new Chevron CutUps from the hot pink paper, then cut out a matching ticket shape with the same die as before. I did a bit of trimming of it here and there and then secured to the white ticket shape. I added the sentiment from the Sassy Birthday set onto another one of the shapes included in the Framed Up CutUps, coloring the numbers with a Spectrum Noir trio. Lastly, I used the top of one of the new Bitty Banners CutUps to cut the scalloped piece, attached to the sentiment. I attached to the ticket piece with dimensional dots. Stay tuned later for the matching card.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and CutUps, Fancy Pants dp, Kaisercraft jewels, May Arts ribbon, PTI buttons, Spectrum Noir markers ( PP3, PP5, DR3)
