Welcome to the first day of C.C. Designs previews for All That Scraps. Today I'm featuring a card using images from the For My Gal clear set. Yes, Christine is now offering clear stamps in addition to the red rubber. I love both rubber and acrylic stamps so I am a happy designer!
The set features several feminine type icons and sentiments. I decided to go with the tea theme. To decorate the teacups, I used a couple of the flourishes from the Romantic Grunge set which is a new rubber set for this release, stamping three times with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Copics X-Press It cardstock. I then stamped over each flourish with the teacup image. After coloring with Copic Markers, I fussy cut out and then stacked them on top of each other onto a plain off-white panel. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the card base and the teabag image was stamped on the small circle shape which was cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities. Most of the paper came from the American Crafts Soho Garden pad except the yellow dotted which came from a Simple Stories Sn@p pad.
Products: C.C. Designs stamps, American Crafts and Simple Stories dp, PTI ribbon, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: BG0000, BG10, BG11, Y0000, Y13, Y35, R0000, R81, R83, W00, E81, C00, C1
This set along with the rest of the April release will be available for purchase tomorrow, April 1 from the All That Scraps
store. We will continue to show you previews as per usual throughout the week. Be sure to check
out the All That Scraps blog for even more previews.

Just Cruisin' By
I have a quick post as I'm busy trying to get Easter preparations completed for a family gathering tomorrow. I have another card today using papers from my new Bazzill Basics Lucy's Crab Shack pad. I'm using the more nautical themed papers as opposed to the tropical colors and patterns from yesterday's post. I combined them with an image from the Taylored Expressions Bon Voyage set. I cut the waves using the Taylored Expressions Wave Border die and then wrapped them with hemp cord for a bit of texture. Very simple.
Products: Taylored Expressions stamp and die, Bazzill Basics dp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Ship-C00, C1, YR30, YR31, B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, R22, R24, R27; Shadows-B0000, B0000
I hope you are having a fabulous Easter weekend.

You're Someone Special
The word of the day is "new". Because there are several new things I used on this card.
First of all, I was so excited to receive the new Lucy's Crab Shack pad from Bazzill Basics that I went in search of a stamp to use it with immediately. Scrapbookers will probably remember Sweetwater which was a favorite of mine back in the day. The company transitioned over to fabric designing and left the paper world behind. Until now that is - in partnership with Bazzill. The mermaid image in the Market Street Dreaming of the Sea stamp set had not seen any ink so I paired her with this fab paper. It's a fairly new stamp set as well.
The third new item you will note is that I am trying out the Spectrum Noir markers. I still love my Copics and will probably never give them up especially since I have heavily invested in them. I have never paid full price for a Copic marker or refill bottle but even at an average of $5 for the maker and another $6 for the refill, that is a $11 investment in just one color. It has become really hard for me to justify that kind of money. So I am sticking my toe in the Spectrum Noir world. And I am not even sure it's a full toe since as of right now I only have one of the 6 pack basics (pinks). We shall see.
So on to the details of this card. I stamped the mermaid and the fishes onto Copics X-Press It cardstock and then cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities allowing one of the tail fins to fall out of the box. I colored the images with mostly Copic markers and a bit with Spectrum Noirs. The flower was cut with the My Favorite Things Prima Donna Petals Die-namics. The C.C. Designs sentiment was stamped directly onto the background panel with Ranger Archival ink and I added some jewels to finish it up.
Products: Market Street Stamps, C.C. Designs stamp, Bazzill Basics dp, TPC and Kaisercraft jewels, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E0000, E000, E11, R20; Hair-E50, E51, E53; Mermaid Clothing/Fish-BG0000, BG000, BG01, YR12, YR14, YR02, 0
Spectrum Noir: ShellsFish-PP3, PP5, DR3
I'll have another project tomorrow using the more nautical themed papers from this same pad. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Let Your Love Shine Out
Good morning! Today's card is one I shared at The Cat's Pajamas party on Splitcoaststampers on Monday night. Unfortunately my chatting with the group was curtailed by laptop issues. My fingers are crossed that I have them fixed now.
I stamped P.J. from the Show Me the Magic set onto Copics X-Press It cardstock with Memento ink (Tuxedo Black) and then stamped the additional stars with Fresh Ink (Chamomile), cutting out with a circle Spellbinders Nestabilities. I stamped more stars directly onto the background panel as well as the sentiment. I added three stars cut with the 3x3 Stars CutUps anchored with staples and buttons. The paper is all from the My Mind's Eye Be Amazing 6x6 pad.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, My Mind's Eye dp, PTI buttons, Fresh Ink, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Bear-E50, E51, E53, B0000, B000, B01, BG53; Honey Pot-YR30, YR31, Y21, W00, E51; Shadows-C00, C1, C3
Thank you for stopping by.

All That Scraps Review - Bu'fly Brianny
It's review day on the All That Scraps blog and I am joining other members of the design team in showing you more projects using the March release stamps and dies. Today we are concentrating on the Sweet November line.
Since I did something different with Brianny on my preview card by not coloring her I decided to feature her with color this time. I used a paper from a Lily Bee pad against background paper from an Echo park pad and colored up Brianny to match. I brushed the lighter color across the black in order for it to bleed onto the pale yellow outer wing portion. Not normally something you would want to do and I'm not even sure it shows up in the photograph. I made sure to clean my pen thoroughly afterwards so it would not be contaminated with the black ink. I kept things fairly simple and went with my go to embellishments of ribbon, buttons and a bit of bling.
Products: Sweet November stamp, Lily Bee and Echo Park dp, Doodlebug jewels, PTI ribbon, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11, R20; Hair-C1, C3, C5, C7, C9; Eyes-B01, B04; Dress-G000, G12, G14, G7; Wings-BG0000, BG10, BG11, BG53, N1, N3, N5, N7, YR30, YR31; Shadows-BG0000, BG70

The Cat's Pajamas New Release Blog Hop and TCP Tuesday
It is release day for The Cat's Pajamas! All seven of the new stamp sets and three gorgeous new Cutups dies are available now in The Cat's Pajamas shop.
Since it is release day that also means a blog hop. I hope you arrived here from Wendy's blog. Wendy is one of our new Cat Pack members and I am sure she had something fabulous to show you. If not, head on over to Jen's blog to start at the beginning.
My card today is pulling double duty as it is also for the March TCP Tuesday challenge which is neutrals plus one other color AND you are limited to one patterned paper and only two layers (the base doesn't count as a layer). Full details are on the Dancing in Pajamas blog as well as the link to add your project.
I created a masculine card which I plan on sending to a high school graduate in May. I made the kraft card base smaller than an A2 by cutting the short side down by a half inch and the long side reduced by one quarter inch. I used the key in the Key to Your Heart CutUps set to cut a series of negative keys across the card front. I then adhered a patterned paper piece inside the card which defined the keys and also added a border around three of the edges. This also put it back to A2 size. I added metal decorative brad from my stash on each of the keys. I cut the keyhole from the same set from some crimped cardstock and anchored with a button tied with linen thread. I completed the masculine look with some plain silver brads in each corner and stamped the sentiment from the Key Phrases set directly onto the background.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Bazzill Basics dp, Linen thread, PTI button, Making Memories brads
That's it for me. I hope you have enjoyed all the previews, chatting and the shopping! To continue the blog hop, please pop on over to Noelle's blog. Noelle is also a new member of The Cat Pack and I'm sure she has something fabulous to show you.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Key and Heart Background
***This is my second post for the day. Please scroll down for my MarkerPop/All That Scraps Blog Hop post. ***
I'm back with the last day of TCP sneak peeks. Today we are featuring the Lock and Heart Background. You may have caught glimpses of this background stamp in some previous preview days. The stamp is rubber due to its detail (all the other stamps in this release are clear acrylic).
The minute I saw this stamp I thought it would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary card, especially since the traditional June weddings will be here before you know it. I started out by stamping the image onto white cardstock using Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. I did the same for the sentiment which is actually from the Key Phrases set which was previewed last week. I then cut the card base using the largest die in the Spellbinders Nestabilities Lacey Squares set. I cut the background prepared earlier to fit and added a strip of gray and white Echo Park paper with a border cut with the Queen of Hearts CutUps and a strip of jewels. The flourish was cut with the also new Heart Swirl CutUps and layered over the top of the sentiment strip and set with a Webster's Pages Sparkler. The card is small at 4.25 inches.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and CutUps, Echo Park dp, Heidi Swapp jewels, Webster's Pages Sparklers, Spellbinders Nestabilities

Some Kaisercraft pearls, a small washi tape strip layered with a button and some twine wrapped and tied around the card provided the finishing touches.

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Words of Love
I have another The Cat's Pajamas sneak peek project for you today featuring the brand new Words of Love set.
I combined a sentiment from the "love" set with die-cuts cut with the Key to Your Heart CutUps, all of which were randomly swiped with Versamark and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I cut a banner piece using the Easy Rosette CutUps and then stamped the sentiment onto a subtle patterned paper breaking it up in order to insert it in the keyhole piece without covering any of it up. The keys were tied together with Tinsel Seam Binding and then secured to the background panel with a metal button tied with linen thread from my stash. The patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye and Glitz Designs.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Seam binding, linen thread, My Mind's Eye and Glitz Designs dp

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Tied Up
Good morning! I have another The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks for you today featuring the Tied Up set.
After coloring Big Bear with Copic markers, I cut him out and attached him to a panel which was wrapped and tied up with Divine Twine emulating the tied up theme. I combined two of the sentiments which were stamped onto the smallest piece from the Circus Panels CutUps and then attached to the card with mini brads. I used another piece from the Toppers CutUps as an accent piece. I absolutely love these dies! I rarely decorate the inside of my cards and, in fact, hardly ever stamp an inside sentiment until I am ready to actually mail. But I did this time because I wanted to continue the sentiment.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, Divine Twine, October Afternoon dp, PTI buttons, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: E31, E34, E55, E29, B000, B41, B95, B97, B99, W00, E81

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Sock It To Me
Welcome to another day of The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks. Today we are featuring the Sock It To Me set.
How cute is this guy? I colored him up in the traditional sock monkey colors which matched up perfectly with patterned papers from the My Mind's Eye Boy Crazy 6x6 pad. I created a color blocked panel background with one piece cut with one of the Toppers CutUps which I also used on the sentiment piece. The sentiment was stamped with Ranger Archival (Aquamarine) ink. I found the chipboard arrow and the Scrapworks clip in my scrapbook stash.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, My Mind's Eye dp, Ki Memories chipboard, PTI buttons, Taylored Expressions ribbon, Ranger Archival ink, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
