Welcome to first of five days of previews featuring Sweet November for All That Scraps. It is all about the butterflies this month. Have you heard of anyone who doesn't like butterflies?! They are just one one of the most miraculous and beautiful creatures in nature.
Bu'fly Bree was colored with a combo of Copics for the body and paper piecing for the wings. After cutting out the image I attached her to an embossed background panel. Dimensional dots were placed underneath the top of largest wing for a bit of lift. The Basic Grey Badge was in my stash for quite a while and I thought it went perfectly with the paper from the American Crafts Soho Garden 6x6 pad. I will warn you that I used this pad a lot throughout these preview projects, 4 out of the 5 actually!
Products: Sweet November stamp, American Crafts dp and ribbon, Simple Stories dp, Basic Grey Flair badge, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E21; Hair-BG0000, BG11, BG34; Eyes-YG91, YG93, YG95; Dress-G82, G43, G85; Butterfly-W1
Be sure to check out the project that my fellow design team member Marion has created using this stamp. Amy, the illustrator of the Sweet November
line has a creative card to share with you and also outlines the
details on how to win some blog candy which includes the stamp we are
all using today. All you have to do is leave comments on our blogs.
This collection will be available for sale a bit earlier than usual - you will be able to purchase them on March 4th along with all of the All That Scraps release. This is actually before you have seen all the previews!
And have you heard? All That Scraps is now a member company at Splitcoaststampers! Stop by and say hello!
