The scene was so calm and serene and that is what I wanted to convey with my card. I was especially drawn to the white furniture with the green leafy patterned pillows so those are the colors and motifs I used. I started out by using a Cuttlebug embossing folder onto the top part of the card base. I then stamped one leaf piece using Stampin' Up Certainly Celery from the Papertrey Ink Turning a New Leaf set onto white cardstock and then used another Cuttlebug embossing folder on it. I stamped the larger leaf piece using Memento Bamboo Leaves onto another piece of cardstock and cut out. It's not often that I don't use patterned paper on my cards but I decided the ribbon could be my pattern.
