Sweet November Preview Day 1 "Max"

Welcome to the first of four days of Sweet November previews for the month of December. Today we are featuring "Max". Max is full of mischief and is about to launch that snowball in his hands at somebody. I went way back into my big box of Christmas stash for today's card. Both patterns are several years old but they are still gorgeous and feature two of my favorite manufacturers, My Mind's Eye and the now defunct Scenic Route. I colored up Max in blues and browns, cut him out and then attached him to a tag cut with a PTI die. The postage stamp strip was cut with an MFT Die-namic as was the cloud that has the sentiment on it. The twine and the holly leaves cut with an old Quickutz die added to the overall rustic look. The sentiment is from C.C. Designs Amy R Snowman Sentiments set.

    Hi Nancy, I love how you have colored Max with the browns and blues. Your shading is just wonderful and I love your papers that you have used. You sure know how to pack in a whole lot of things, without making it look overwelling. I really really love the look you have created. Super cute and it just feels so fun.     I recognized that Scenic Route snowflake paper right away... I still miss SR! ;)
    This is a really fabulous card Nancy, the blue and brown combo really suits little Max and that touch of red is a great contrast... love it!

    Max is adorable! Gorgeous coloring, love how the browns and baby blues go so well together. That tag is beautiful with those papers and those lovely accents are perfect.
