Today's card is for the January Reverse Confetti Sketch Challenge #20. I haven't had a chance to play in several months so it was good to get back in the saddle so to speak.
I bought the Petals 'N Posies stamp and matching die set back when Reverse Confetti had a sale. I had been wanting it for a while and since I am on a quest to use my stuff I was happy to break it out of the packaging for this card. I started out by creating the shaker with two Spellbinders Nestabilities and then assembled, filling with various sequins. I stamped the flower with Hero Arts Fresh Peach shadow ink, cut out with the matching die, cut the leafy stem from patterned paper and attached all to the shaker. The slanted panel was cut using a combo of the Diagonal Stripe Pretty Panels and Love Note die and I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card base. All the patterned paper except for the green came from the Studio Calico Brighton Pier pad.
Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, Studio Calico dp, PTI and Bazzill Basics cs, Doodlebug, Verve and Treehouse sequins, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Simon Says and Hero Arts inks
I am slowly getting back into the crafty swing of things after the holiday break.
