It is release day at the The Cat's Pajamas! Five new stamps, six new dies and new sequins are available for purchase in The Cat's Pajamas shop. We are celebrating the release with a blog hop. If you arrived here from the extremely talented Melissa's blog you are in the right place. If not, then please return to Julie's blog because she is the beginning of the hop.
I used the new Spring Tree Duo die cut from patterned paper to create a shaker, backing with more patterned paper then filling it with some of the new green holeless sequins. The fox from the For Fox Sake onto Copics X-Press It cardstock, eliminating the balloon and the envelop. After coloring with Copic makers, I fussy cut out and attached to the card front using craft foam. I replaced the balloon image with a diecut one using a die from the Balloon Frame set, To replace the envelop image, the sentiment from the Year of the Pig was stamped onto a small banner which was cut using a die from the Stitched Squares & More set.

I love how you used patterned paper for the background, including the tree. You are so inventive...
ReplyDeleteI like making shaker cards. Your is so cute. Thanks for listing the Copic markers you used. I struggle with coloring critters with a red/orange tint. This helps a lot!
ReplyDeleteI love the use of patterned paper for your die cut panel, Nancy! So clever and gives a great new effect! Thanks so much for sharing and for the wonderful inspirations!
