The summer has really slipped by us. My husband just finished up 6 weeks of radiation therapy and frankly we've been preoccupied with the whole healthcare process. And since we have been so busy we are so behind on everything. The landscaping is out of control except the grass which a very kind neighbor has been mowing and edging for us. We haven't even thought of a vacation and frankly the house could use a good clean! And in the midst of all this my laptop died and I've had to replace and do a restore but some items are still missing. Obviously, crafting has taken a back seat. But.....thanks be to God, Don is now considered cancer free and that is all that really matters.
It seems most of the card making world has moved on to autumn and Christmas already so this will be the last of my cards that even looks remotely summery.
I stamped Garden Bushes from Purple Onion Designs onto Copic friendly cardstock along with the smallest butterfly from the Flora & Fauna set colored with Copic markers. I then masked the two images and added some clouds using a cloud stencil and tumbled glass distress ink. After cutting the panel out with a stitched edge rectangle die, I stamped the sentiment and attached the panel to the card front.
