Protecting Freedom

Good morning. This is another "any hero" card for Operation Write Home. Our granddaughters, 9 and 11 have been visiting from North Carolina. They went home yesterday but they wrote me several "any hero" letters while they were here.

I again used a combo of Authentique Glory patterned paper with images from the Verve American Hero stamp set. I haven't used either of these very much and August for me is all about using my stuff. I used the sketch from the iSpy Sketch challenge blog (ISSC27) for the basic layout which also fits another of my August goals to do more challenges.

Products: Verve stamps, Authentique dp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, PTI buttons, Kaisercraft jewel, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: R24, R27, B91, B93, B95

I do not have a lot of design team assignments for the remainder of August and since during these dogs days of summer outdoor activities are a struggle I'm concentrating on indoor activities. I'm spending this month doing some challenges, a bit of organizing, using some neglected stamps and paper pads and getting an overdue package ready for Operation Write Home. Now I know you aren't interested in that but it helps to keep me accountable do document goals on my blog.
