Never Forget How to Fly (TCP Tuesday 234)

Today's card is for TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES234) which is Susan's Stamp/CutUps challenge to use any "person" image and either the Heart Trio or Queen of Hearts CutUps.

I stamped and colored up the image from Tweet Hearts set. See the bird perched atop the matted image? I cut it with the tiny bird image from the Window CutUps.  Plus I managed to use both of the required Heart Trio and the Queen of Hearts CutUps. At the last minute I threw some buttons and pearls at it! I didn't really mean for this to turn out so "valentine-ish". I was really going for a more uplifting message since it is also for the Hope is the Thing challenge (HYCCT1213) in the Hope You Can Cling To forum at Splitcoast Stampers benefiting UT MD Anderson Hospital. I haven't got as many of the challenges done as I had hoped; this one is lucky number 13. Hopefully I can squeeze in a few more by the 11/7 deadline and mailing.

All the details for this TCP Tuesday challenge can be found in the TCP Splitcoast Stampers Forum. As always, there is potential for fame (Pick of the Litter) and/or fortune (Pick of the Week) and possibly even Swanky Stamper of the Month. I hope you will join us this week. Good luck!

  4. hello! You had an adorable card in the All That Scraps newsletter today and I was wondering what stamp set you used with the coffee cup die. It doesn't look the same as the logo stamp set. Thanks so much! love your work!
