Hello Spring

It's a beautiful Spring day here in Alabama.  72 degrees, gloriously sunny, sprigs of green finally appearing on the lawn, buttercups popping up, the Camellia bushes overloaded with blooms and my personal favorite, forysthia painting the landscape with bright yellow cheer.  With Spring comes Easter so I thought I better get started on my Easter cards for my little granddaughters.

My first Easter card for the season is also my contribution for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch. I found the sentiment and the egg stamp in the Michael's dollar bin a few days ago.  I stamped the egg images using Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto Neenah Solar White cardstock.  I colored them with Copic markers and them cut out trimming closely along the edge.  While I was at M's I looked for the Martha Stewart grass border punch  but apparently they were all sold out.  Then I remembered that I had this Quickutz grass die.  I popped it into my Cuttlebug and voila....now my Easter eggs sit gently in the grass!
