Bayberry Cottage

I like all things patterned paper but just like you, I do have some favorites. As I think I've mentioned before Pink Paislee is one of those. What I don't like normally is the color purple. But Pink Paislee has possibly changed my mind with their Bayberry Cottage collection.

Today's card is for the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge which is to include stitching.  I stamped the Sweet November image with Memento Ink onto Prism Simply Smooth cardstock.  I colored with Copic Markers and then cut out the image.  (Note to self: coloring with Copics while drinking wine does not mix).

Products: Pink Paislee pp, pleated twill and Flip Note, Sweet November stamp, Basic Grey bling, Stickles, Copic Markers

Copic Markers: Skin-E00,E02,R20; Hair and Skirt Fringe -YG11, YG13, YG17, YG21; Skirt, Eyes, Wings, Shoes-V12, V15, RV17, R83

Next is a heritage layout featuring an old photo of my Aunt Lillie and Uncle Herbert (my grandmother's brother).  Unfortunately I don't know any of the details of the actual photo so I just journaled my impressions of them.

Products: Pink Paislee pp and Flip Note, Bazzill cs, Webster's Pages Bloomers trim and Silhouette, Basic Grey chipboard letters, pearls and bling

I hope your week is great!  Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Birthday Sis!

  1. Nancy! Both the card and layout are stunning! Wow :o) I always love browsing your work because no one does elegant as well as you do. I miss your LM gallery; do you have your older layouts posted somewhere online?

    Hope you are well.
    Hugs. Cecilie

  2. Thanks Cecilie - it is good to hear from you. No, I have not yet uploaded my old gallery but I have plans to do so to Flickr. I just haven't found the time or patience to get it done yet!
