I hope you had a great 4th of July holiday.
Today's card is for my Christmas in July theme and also fits this week's Sugar Bowl Challenge. I've had this cute Sugar Nellie stamp "Snowflake" for a while and had never managed to ink it up. I thought the old fashioned feel of the image went perfectly with the vintage colors of the Pink Paislee Mistletoe and Co collection from last year.
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Bazzill Simply Smooth Cardstock (cream) and then colored it with Copic Markers. I changed up the sketch provided for the challenge a bit to accommodate the circular paper I wanted to use but I think it's close enough to the original to recognize.
Products: Sugar Nellie stamp, Pink Paislee pp, May Arts pins, Basic Grey pearls, PTI ribbon and cs (card base), Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E00,E02,R20; Hair-E55,E57, E29; Coat/Hat-B92, B93, B95; Pants and Dots-E09, R59, R89; Shoes-E57,E59
As always, thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful work Nancy! You can never bee too early to make Christmas cards and I really should start with mine too :) Thanks for joining the Sugar Bowl Challenge!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I love the little girl image and the elements of your card just bring her out in a wonderful way. TFS
