Good morning Stampers! How do you like the TCP sneaky peeks so far? I hope you are making a list because we have so much more to show you.
Today we are featuring the Step Right Up set. I love P.J. with his 'stache and master of ceremony outfit. Since the set was so fun and whimsical I wanted to combine him with some equally fun paper. Kaisercraft Party Animal fit that bill perfectly. I set P.J. onto a a platform I cut from the patterned paper design. Did you notice anything else new? How about that adorable Circus Tent?! I didn't realize until I actually ran it through my Cuttlebug but it scores and cuts the paper to create natural areas for paper piecing. The way the tent folds are cut also makes it easy to gently curve it for a fun 3-D effect. I also used another new CutUps set, Circus Panels - actually I just used the edge of one of the panels and stamped my sentiment on it. The arrow is a diecut that came with the paper. The oversized Pennant CutUps was used as my background panel. Since I had a lot going on with the various elements I set everything onto a white background to cut down on the fussiness. This set has definitely made me want to go to the circus now. I haven't been in years.
