Count Your Rainbows

TGIF!

I thought I would end the work week on a bright note. I used a piece from a MFT Blueprints set to cut strips from paint chips representing the ROYGBIV colors of the rainbow. I trimmed them down using both straight and slanted cuts and one with fishtails. I laid them out on the card base using temporary adhesive until I was happy with the arrangement and then adhered with permanent glue. I stamped the two images from the Reverse Confetti Count Your Rainbows set at the top and the bottom of the main panel, coloring up the word portion with Copic markers. Lastly, I added three matted embellishments in random spots for a very a clean and simple style card.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Queen and Co. Twinkle Goosebumps, Kaisercraft pearl, Doodlebug Sprinkles, Memento Luxe ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Y11, Y13, Y15

I hope you have a great weekend. As always, thank you for stopping by.

  2. I Nancy, this is totally adorable! It looks like pieces of faux leather. I have a stash of paint chips that I got a year or so ago as I have always thought it would be a fun way to color. Now I see it totally is! :0). Thanks for sharing and making Friday bright as I on my lunch break sitting in my car while it is raining. True, I swear! lol. Have a great weekend. Hugs Lisa G
