First Christmas Card of 2012

I got the My Favorite Things Inspired by Christmas set rather late in the season and frankly I was so burned out on the whole Christmas card process that I just did not have the heart to make any more by the time it arrived. So I decided to save it for 2012, which is my first Christmas card of the year. I followed this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge (MFTWSC60) for the layout although I did reverse it. The patterned paper is all Echo Park. I kept it as "unlumpy" as possible for mailing purposes.

Products: My Favorite Things stamp and Die-namics, Echo Park dp, Spellbinders Nestabilities, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E01, E11, R20; Beard/Hat trim-W00, E81; Santa Suit-R24, R46, R59; Shadows-BG0000

A Sunday Driveby:
  • have you noticed that even Barbie has hair extensions now?
  • not sure what happened to winter here but it doesn't bode well for a pleasant summer
  • you know you are behind on Google reader when you are still reading Valentine related posts

Thank you for stopping by.

  1. Beautiful Christmas card Nancy, love the colors! It will still be awhile before I pull out any Christmas papers...I just got them all put away! ;)
It will be interesting to see what kind of summer we have this year, our winter was the mildest I can remember and that followed a mild summer.

  4. What a lovely Christmas card, Nancy and so smart of you to start early! I love these papers! In fact, I was tempted to buy another pack the other day at the LSS! The craft twine makes a wonderful accent! Hope that you had a Happy Weekend! :D
