Live.Laugh.Love (October Sketch For You To Try)

Good morning. How is your October going so far? It's still warm here but very pleasant which makes me feel energetic and in the mood to get things done.

Today's card is for the October Sketch for You to Try (#5). And look-a-here....I didn't use a single scrap of patterned paper. Gasp! I'm not sure I like it though so I expect I won't be doing that very often! Besides, I adore patterned paper. Now on to the details. I stamped an image from the Reverse Confetti Whole Lotta Dots three times with VersaMark onto Stampin' Up Smoky Shadow card stock, then sprinkled matching Smoky Shadow embossing powder over it and heat embossing for a tone on tone look. For the remainder of the stamping I used images from the Peacock Pretties set. I stamped the circles with Memento Dandelion Luxe ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped the feather with Memento Blue Danube ink and then fussy cut out. I used the same ink for the sentiment that I cut up into the individual words placing on and around the circles and anchored with a sequin. Before placing the various stamped elements I dry embossed a dotted chevron embossing border.

Products: Rerverse Confetti stamps, Stampin' Up cs and embossing powder, Coordinations, Bazzill Bascis and PTI cs, Lawn Fawn sequins, Cuttlebug Charles embossing folder, Memento ink

That's it for today. I hope you are having a great weekend!!
