Welcome to the first day of the C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps March previews.
I chose to work with the cutest set Blue Bird which consists of three images and two sentiments. I stamped the branch first and then cut out with a circle Spellbinders Nestabilities. I stamped the bird and nest separately and fussy cut out after coloring with Copic Markers. I used a Fiskars Fingertip knife to cut a slit in the nest in order to sit the bird lower down in it. I added some pop dots underneath the bird for added dimension. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the background panel. The patterned paper came from the American Crafts Soho Garden pad.
