It's one last review day on the All That Scraps blog
and I am joining other members of the design team in showing you more
projects using the November release stamps and dies.
There were so many fabulous stamps in this release it really was hard to choose which ones to work with. Today I am featuring Sisters from the Swiss Pixies line. I love my big sister very much and these girls holding hands really tug at my heart. I even colored the hair like ours! The brunette one represents me and although I'm the youngest, I am bigger so I'm also the taller one on the card. Bigger in more ways than one but I don't really want to talk about that! I used a combo of Copic coloring and paper piecing to dress the sisters up. The paper is from the fabulous My Mind's Eye Play Date pad. I used the Family Sayings Cutters for the tag and then added some rolled flowers and twine. The brads and photo anchors were from my stash.
Products: C.C. Designs stamps and Cutters, My Mind's Eye dp, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11, R20; Hair-E30, E31, E33, E35 (left), E35, E57, E29 (right); Shoes-W1, W2, W5; Leggings/Barrettes/Cuffs-B41, B45, W00, E81, Y21, Y26; Shadows-BG70, BG0000, W1

TCP Tuesday 238 and New Release Blog Hop
It is release day for The Cat's Pajamas! All seven of the new stamp sets and five fun new Cutups dies are available now from The Cat's Pajamas shop.
Since it is release day that also means a blog hop. I hope you arrived here from Jen's blog where I am sure she had something fabulous to show you. If not, head on over to Lori's blog to start at the beginning. Lori is this week's TCP Tuesday (TCPTUES238) challenge hostess which is a theme of "Vintage Holiday".
I decided to make a card/small gift combination by creating a felt gingerbread girl. I used the new Man CutUps to cut two pieces from felt. I added the felt cuffs at the arms and legs to the front piece and also cut two slits in an "X" pattern with my craft knife in the area where the "heart" would be. I machined sewed the two pieces together and then stuffed polyfil through the hole I cut previously. Once it was completely stuffed, I added the two buttons and the felt heart over the cut opening so it would not show. I then made an oversized tag shape using two of the pieces from the new Toppers CutUps adding a pom pom and button at each point and then threaded some seam binding through two of the holes at the top. I attached the felt gingerbread girl to it with clear fishing wire, running it from the buttons all the way through the card top and tied it off inside. That way it can be cut by the recipient and removed from the card if desired. The sentiment is from the Homemade for the Holidays set. I added a snowflake cut with the Snowflake CutUps as the finishing touch.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamp and CutUps, My Mind's Eye dp, PTI felt and buttons, Martha Stewart seam binding, Creative Imaginations felt trim
To complete the blog hop, please hop on over to The Cat's Pajamas and take a look at these fabulous new products. I think this is one of my very favorite releases and I hope it is one of yours too. Please remember that the stamps are Limited Edition so get them while they are hot!

{The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peek} Homemade for the Holidays
Welcome to the last day of The Cat's Pajamas sneak peeks. Before we get started here is some information about this Limited Edition release one more time:
The Cat's Pajamas is now 10 years old! Alma started making rubber stamps at her dining room table, hand cutting rubber and cushion and attaching them to wood blocks to sell to the local stamp stores where she was teaching.
And so much has happened to stamping in 10 years. But our love of stamping is still going strong. So this release, we are excited to celebrate the way we started. With rubber stamps. Not just any rubber stamps. Cling Stamp sets for easy storage and positioning. Perfect for those who love rubber, but also love the convenience and ease of clear. Limited Edition because these stamps are extra special. Lovingly assembled at Alma's dining room table. Just like she did 10 years ago. So snap them up, because only a small number will be made. Her table is only so big.
There are Five CutUps Dies in this release. Along with some "classics" that belong in every die collection, we are so excited to introduce our "Toppers" line. They are shapes that you can use the positive and negatives of to create borders and panels. They are open-ended so that you can create panels of any size using the toppers. You can place them individually or use them together. Endless possibilities!
This release will be available for purchase tonight! right after the Pajama Party!
Today we are featuring the Homemade for the Holidays set. First I cut the gingerbread man out from sturdy crimped cardstock from my stash using the new Man CutUps. I rubbed a white ink pad all over the cut out to help accentuate the ridges. Then I used a small scalloped Nestabilities circle to take a couple of "bites" out of one leg and an arm. I stamped the mouth in red and the eyes in black and placed two very tiny buttons, also from my stash, offsetting them just below the circle eyes to give him the illusion of some eyebrows. Some paper ric rac, linen thread, a felt heart and more small buttons completed his look. After stamping the sentiment onto a matted piece cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities, I took yet another "bite" out of it and added some tiny buttons for sprinkles. I cut the Star Rosette and left it flat so I could use it as part of the background panel. I slipped a circle cut from kraft cardstock underneath it so all the stars would be the same color. I attached the gingerbread man with an Action Spring Wobble which not only added dimension but movement as well.
Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and CutUps, Studio Calico dp, Linen Thread, PTI button, Action Spring Wobble, Spellbinders Nestabilities
All the details for this release can be found in the TCP Splitcoast Stampers Forum. Before you go I would like to extend this invitation to join us tonight:
I'll see you there!

Today's card features another bunny set, Soar. I love this stamp set as it can be used for an everyday type card or for Christmas as it includes some Christmas icons. I opted for a boy card combining this little guy with Doodlebug's Boys Only patterned paper. The stars were cut using the new 3x3 CutUps. I stamped the sentiment onto a tag shape. The eyelet and ball chain came from stash.

Today we are featuring the Expecting the Big Guy stamp set. Yes indeed the Big Eared Bunny is back! Have you missed him? I know I have. I stamped him onto Copics X-Press It cardstock and then colored with Copics as per usual. I created a funky border with one of the Toppers CutUps. The big star was cut using the also new 3x3 CutUps and I layered the sentiment on top. Some buttons and Linen Thread provided the finishing touches. The paper is all from the Carta Bella Winter Fun pad for a more masculine look.

Sweet November Review - Rudy
Today is review day over at the All That Scraps Blog and I am joining other design team members in showcasing more of the November release stamps and dies.
Today we are concentrating on the Sweet November line which features
the sweet Christmas pixies you saw at the beginning of the month.
I decided to stamp up Rudy again. He was one of my favorites from the release and based on the comments and views on my blog, he was one of your favorites as well. He really is a fun Christmas image and a must have in my opinion. I colored him up with earth tone hues and combined him with patterned papers from the Doodlebug North Pole 6x6 pad. I used the Bubbles Cutters to create a small circular mat stack for the sentiment.
Products: C.C. Designs stamp and Cutters, Doodlebug dp, American Crafts ribbon, PTI sentiment stamp, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Copic markers
Copics: Skin-E000, E00, E11, R20; Hair-E53, E55, E57; Nose-R22, R24, R27; Reindeer Ears/Clothing-E21, E25, E29, W00, E81, E410, E41, E42, G40, G43, G46; Shadows-C00, C1, C3

Welcome to a special mid-month release from All That Scraps. The new Birdie Day stamps set includes 10 images and 6 sentiments. This release also includes some new Cutters too, Chickadees, Little Birds and a Tree set.
My first card features one of the birdhouse images, a sentiment and two of the Chickadees. The birds were cut out using the Chickadees Cutters and then I hand cut out the bird house. I created a scene with these, perching the birdhouse on top of the fence cut with the Fence Border Cutters and of course the tree and foliage was cut with the new Tree Cutters set. The paper is all from the Carta Bella Traditions 6x6 paper pad. Be sure to check out the new C.C. Designs Woodgrain Embossing plate too!

For my second card, I created another scene by stamping the tree and birdbath images and then cutting into a tag shape with a bit of the birdbath "out of the box." I colored with Copics and then superimposed the tiny leaves from the Tree Cutters set over the leaves portion of the image. I stamped, colored and cut out the birds with the Chickadees Cutters, placing a dimensional dot underneath each one. The sentiment is also from the stamp set and I added the grass at the bottom using the Grass Border Cutters. The paper is all from the new Pebbles Seen and Noted pad which I love, love, love!
