{The Cat's Pajamas} 'Tis the Season

I am squeezing in a Christmas card on this last day of October. The Cat's Pajamas will be really ramping up the holiday festivities in November with some fun new images. 

I adore all the snowmen images in the We Three Snowmen set and since they are digital I can make them as big or small as I want. I resized and printed onto Copic friendly cardstock using Silhouette Studio software, then cut out with an arched die. After coloring with Copic markers, I matted onto another arch cut from green parakeet. Both were attached to a cardstock and patterned paper background which was cut on the diagonal. Lastly I printed a partial sentiment from the Jolly Holiday set and just freely cut with my trimmer and attached using a layer of craft foam.

{The Cat's Pajamas} Merry Christmas

I have been very slow getting Christmas cards done this year so I was happy to see some cute Christmas images in the September release. There are also some cute Halloween images in case you are just not ready to work on Christmas cards.

Using Silhouette software I fiddle-faddled with the size (that's a technical term!) of one of the snowmen from the We Three Snowmen digital set then printed onto Copic friendly cardstock, along with the sentiment from the Holiday Sayings set. I also printed the snowman on plain copy paper so I could use it for a mask. I cut out the printed piece and cut out with a stitched edge rectangle die. I masked the snowman then using blueberry ink and a cloud stencil for the sky portion. I used another very old TCP die to cut out the snow bank from linen cardstock, then attached to the panel using a layer of craft foam. I wrapped some seam binding around the piece and then attached the panel to a colored card base.
