Love You Baby Girl {Picket Fence Studios}

Today's card features the Birthday Girl Dear set from the June Picket Fence Studios release.

Using masking, I stamped the girl in black and the balloons in honeysuckle ink and separately stamped the cake and butterfly in black, I cut out the images with the matching dies and colored with Copic markers. I cut a background from textured cardstock and attached the the two hearts cut from honeysuckle and pool party cardstock using the Slim Line Die Cutting System-Scallop Frames set. The sentiment was white embossed onto one of the hearts, then all the images were attached with craft foam.

Hello Butterfly {Picket Fence Studios}

Today's card is a  summery card using products from Picket Fence Studios

With a lot of masking, I used the Tile Montage Stencil to create the selective background blending using the smallest of blending brushes with Hawaiian shores, green parakeet and bright buttercup ink. The circle frame was cut by nesting two circle dies cut from bright buttercup cardstock and adhered to the stencil background using foam dimensionals. I cut the butterfly from Hawaiian shores cardstock, using the Slim Line Hopes and Dreams Butterfly Cover Plate Die and then trimming out just the butterfly portion. The sentiment and tiny butterfly images from the Baby Butterfly Beauties set were stamped directly onto the background panel using the same ink colors.

Products: Picket Fence Studios Stamps, Die and stencil, PTI cs, PTI ink

I hope you have a great weekend!

Do All Things with Love

Good morning. I hope all is well with you. We are suffering through a major heat wave. But hey, I live in the south so it is expected. Not comfortable but expected.

I did some messy watercoloring onto a stitched edged white cardstock panel using saltwater taffy, mustard seed and salvaged patina distress ink. I stamped the hummingbird image from the A Hummingbird's Song stamp set using black ink then stamped again using Versamark ink and clear heat embossed. The sentiment was stamped using saltwater taffy ink, then cut out with a stitched circle die and adhered to the panel with foam dimensionals. The panel was attached to the card front using Foam Tape. The sentiments in this stamp are really meaningful and can be used on so many other projects.

Products: Picket Fence Studos stamps, PTI cs, Atenew, Versamark and Ranger Distress ink

I hope you are having a great week. Blessings to you.

When Pigs Fly {Picket Fence Studios}

Good morning all. I have another card using stamps and dies from the new June Picket Fence Studios release. Have you check it out yet? You really should.

I stamped all the images from the When Birthday Pigs Fly set, cut out with the matching dies, then  colored all the images with Copic markers (unfortunately I did not record them this time). For the background I used the Slim Line Nested Rectangles Dies where I used one of the dies to stamp the sentiment and the Slim Line Die Cutting System for the openings and image mat. I also used the smallest die from the Cloud Dies set to cut from textured cardstock and a tiny die from the Slim Line Full Front Shaker Die to represent the sun in order to create a scene in each opening. All the images were attached with foam dimensionals.

I hope your Father's Day weekend is a good one.

June 2022 Release Day {Picket Fence Studios}

Good morning all. It's the 14th of the month and that means it is time for another Picket Fence Studios release. I am sharing two of the seven projects I created for this release today.

After stamping the image from the new Done Adulting for the Day I cut out with the matching die and colored with Copic markers. To prepare the background panel, I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend antique linen (sand), salvaged patina (sea) and tumbled glass (sky) distress inks. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the background and I attached the image using a layer of craft foam. A trio of sequins for the Sandy Toes Sequin Mix finished it up.

Products: Picket Fence Studios stamps and dies, PTI cs, Picket Fence Studios Sequins, Ranger Distress and Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Skin-E00, E01, E11; Hat/Shoes=R21, R22, R24; R21, R22; Drink-YG03, Shells-R02; Sand-E30, E31

And since adulting is the theme for the day, one of my favorite gifts to give to friends and family is a bottle of wine but I always like to kick it up a notch by adding a wine tag.

There are premade wine tags available and even some dies, but since they are so easy to make I usually just cut my own. I cut out a rectangle piece from limeade cardstock, used my bone folder to make a crease, then used an inside/out circle to cut an opening. I then used another inside/out die to cut from white cardstock to create a smaller opening. That isn't really necessary but I wanted to add a bit more interest. I used post-it tape to create lines on a piece of white cardstock and then used an old credit card to apply the new Hibiscus Pink Paper Glaze to make shiny stripes. After the panel dried, I used a pierced rectangle die to cut out a mat for my wine tag. For the main image, I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Just Wanna Have Wine set using cranberry ink, then cut out with stitched rectangle die.

After slipping the tag onto the bottle of wine, I added a bow using ribbon and twine.

Products: Picket Fence Studios stamp, PTI cs, May Arts ribbon, The Twinery and Hemptique twine, PFS Paper Glaze, Concord and 9th ink

Happy Day {Picket Fence Studios}

Good morning. I have a clean and simple card today using Picket Fence Studios stamps and dies.

I used the Happy Day Word Topper die cut twice from white cardstock and once from subtle patterned paper, then stacked together for my main focal point. After attaching to the card front, I added two more coordinating patterned paper strips underneath. I stamped the small dog walker image from the Play is Good set onto Copic friendly cardstock then cut out with the matching die. I colored the image with Copic markers, using Liquid Applique on the poodle for some extra "puff." Lastly, I added a smattering of pieces from the new Puppy Dog Tails-Girl Sequin Mix. FYI the patterned paper I used is circa 2012!

Products: PTS stamps and dies, Carta Bella dp, PTI cs, Liquid Applique, PFS ink, Copic Markers

I cut out the image using a pierced die and fussy cut out the bandaids image and colored all with Copic markers. Life is Tough but So are You {Picket Fence Studios}

Good morning. I have another card created for Picket Fence Studios using the Blooming Iris A2 Stencil  released last month.

After spraying the stencil lightly with Pixie Spray, I placed over an A2 cardstock piece and  blended goddess green ink for the leaves and stems and wisteria ink for the flowers using the Life Changing Blender Brushes. I also added Purple Prism Paper Glitz to the centers of the flowers for contrast and sparkle. I attached a patterned paper border the bottom, then cut out the panel with a stitched edge die. The sentiment from the Swanky Friendship Sentiments was stamped using wisteria ink then cut out with the matching die. A smattering of sequins from the Lavender Fields Sequin Mix and the Purple Bottlecap Flowers Sequins finished it up.

Products: Picket Fence Studios stamps and dies, Doodlebug dp, PTI cs, PFS Sequins, Simon Says and Ink On 3 ink

Many blessings to you.
