{The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peek} Follow Your Arrow

Welcome to another day of The Cat's Pajamas September Sneak PeeksThere are 4 new stamp sets, 8 new die sets and one new stencil in this release. This includes two stamp and die bundles which are available to purchase separately or as a bundle with special pricing. All the new products will be available for purchase as revealed throughout the week with the full release on September 29 at which time there will be additional discounting known in the TCP world as the Kitty Kat or Poochie Pack.

Today we are highlighting the new Follow Your Arrow stamp set. I think this is my favorite set of this release. I love these sweet animal images.

With masking, I stamped the raccoon, tent and grass onto Copic friendly cardstock cut with a stitched die. While I had the images masked, I blended speckled egg and just a bit of black soot distress inks for the background, then colored the images with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped with ocean tides ink. I masked off the rest of the sentiment and replaced with an arrow cut with one of the dies from the Lacy Arrows CutUps and layered with a heart.

Welcome to the first of seven days of The Cat's Pajamas September Sneak PeeksThere are 4 new stamp sets, 8 new die sets and one new stencil in this release. This includes two stamp and die bundles which are available to purchase separately or as a bundle with special pricing. All the new products will be available for purchase as revealed throughout the week with the full release on September 29 at which time there will be additional discounting known in the TCP world as the Kitty Kat or Poochie Pack.

Today we are showcasing the Simply Blessed stamps and Die set. plus the Simply Blessed Bundle which includes the stamp and dies at a discount when purchase together.

I used the new Stitched Tree CutUps to cut from woodgrain patterned paper and the leaves portion from three different colors of patterned paper. Before placing the tree diecut onto the card front, I used the previously released Great Outdoors Stencilz with speckled egg distress ink to create the sky. The patterned paper leaves were attached to tree as well as the "ground" and a trip of coordinating patterned paper was attached as a border. I stamped and cut one of the images from the new Simply Blessed Bundle then colored with Copic markers. The sentiment from the set was stamped onto a linen cardstock and patterned paper stitched circle using rich cocoa ink. Both the image and sentiment circle were attached using foam dimensionals.

{Reminder} The Cat's Pajamas September TCP Tuesday Challenge

I am here today for the mid month reminder for the September TCP Tuesday Challenge which is to create a card featuring an AnimalTCP products are not required but we certainly have many animals to choose from in the store. You have until the end of the month to submit a project and there is a $50 gift voucher up for grabs.

Since I need lots of Christmas cards, I decided to use the Beary Christmas stamp released in July. Plus, P.J. the bear is too cute to resist. I first cut a circle onto a linen cardstock piece, then stamped the image. After coloring with Copic markers, I then stamped the various sentiments. I also stamped and cut two of the images from the Oh Christmas Tree Bundle also released in July. I am obsessed with this set and will be using it even more. I placed the images underneath the circle before attaching the image panel to the card front. A few enamel dots finished it up.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas stamps and dies, PTI cs, Doodlebug enamel dots, Altenew and Concord & 9th ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Bear-E30, E33, E35, E41, E42, R20; Tree-G20, G40, G43; Car-R20, R22, R24, Y13, Y17, C00, C1, C3; Gifts-R20, R22, R24, YG01, YG13, BG01, BG02

Hello Fall

I hope you are having a great Sunday. We will be attending church service for the first time in over 6 months although in a different format. It will be at 5:30 outside in the park area of our church campus, bringing our own lawn chairs and of course masked. So excited! I have missed corporate worship so much.

Today's autumnal card is for the current Color Throwdown Challenge (#610). I stamped and cut the images using the Papertrey Ink Autumn Scarecrow stamps and dies, then colored with Copic markers. I used a Copic Multiliner pen to create the checkerboard squares on the scarf portion of the image.  For the background I stamped taffy cardstock using the Ink to Paper Nifty Plaid background stamp and fine linen ink. The sentiment was stamped onto plain taffy cardstock circle with honey nut ink.

Products: Papertrey Ink/Ink to Paper stamps and dies, Simon Says cs, MFT and Lil Inker dies, Altenew and PTI ink, Copic Markers

Thankful for You

Good morning. I took a break from design team projects to create today's card for a couple of challenges. Even though I have been creating a lot of fall and holiday cards, I am not ready for summer to end. Far from it actually. Despite the unrelenting heat I still love the summer season the best.

I went all in with The Stamp Market stamps and dies with this one. I first stamped the linen cardstock background with the Diamond Design Background using green parakeet ink then cut out with a stitched die. I then used the Butterfly Builder stamps and dies to create the two butterflies using bright buttercup ink for the wings and black for the bodies. I cut the frame from green parakeet ink using a die from the Scalloped Frame Die set, then stamped the sentiment from the Sincere Sentiments set inside it. The butterflies were attached with a combo of glue and foam dimensionals.

Products: The Stamp Market stamps and dies, PTI cs, MFT die, PTI and Simon Says ink

I am submitting this to the debut challenge at Color Hues (yellow and green) and the layout is based on the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

You are important so stay safe. Be blessed.
