*New* I'll Be Home for the Holidays {Purple Onion Designs}

The holidays are practically here and some new Purple Onion Designs stamps have arrived at the perfect time for some fun holiday crafting. You will be amazed at all the cute new images for your holiday and winter cardmaking. My mouth literally dropped open when Michele sent us the previews and I could not wait to get my hands on the actual products. There are actually two collections from two different artists and you are going to love both.

I love this sweet family of bunnies on today's cards which features an image from the new I'll Be Home for the Holidays Collection illustrated by the incomparable Stacey Yacula. I stamped the O'Hares onto Copic friendly cardstock cut with a stitched rectangle die, then colored with Copic Markers. I added a simple strip of patterned paper, and then white heat embossed the sentiment from the Home for the Holidays Sentiment set which was then attached with a layer of craft foam for dimension. This card could also work for Easter considering all the pastels.

Have a Blessed Christmas

Today's card is a last minute entry to the new Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge

My photo did not really capture the pretty red, cherry kisses I used to stamp the various images from the new My Favorite Things Iconic Christmas which were all cut with the matching dies

I stamped the Christmas Greetings Background using Versamark ink onto white cardstock, white heat embossed it then cut out the three circles from it. After attching the small stamped images to the circle pieces, they were then adhered to the card base. Lastly, I added the sentiment which was also stamped with Versamark and white heat embossed.

Products: My Favorite Things stamps and dies, The Stamp Market and PTI cs, MFT dies, The Stamp Market and Veramark ink

I was inspired by the red and white ceramic ornaments in the challenge photo.

Wishing You the Joys of the Season

I am on a Christmas card roll these days so I am really hoping that I have plenty ready to mail the beginning of December. It certainly helps that I colored the image back during the August  #thedailymarker30day challenge.

The main image came from the Reverse Confetti Joys of the Season set which was cut with the matching die. I placed it on a metallic cardstock circle which was framed with a red diecut from the retired Reverse Confetti Wreath set. The sentiment was stamped with silvery shimmer ink for a bit more sparkle and I added a patterned paper strip at the bottom.

Products: Reverse Confetti stamps and dies, Catherine Pooler dp, PTI cs, Recollections Metallic cs, Altenew and Delicata ink, Copic Markers
Candy Canes-W00, E81, R22, R29, R46; Berries-R21, R24, R27; Leaves-YG61, YG63, YG67

I am submitting this to the October CAS Christmas Card Challenge to use gray and red.

As always, thank you for stopping by my little papercrafting corner.

Hay Gnomie

Fall has definitely arrived, even here in Alabama where summer usually sticks around a lot longer than other places. And I actually created today's cards on the first day of fall. It just felt so right.

Both cards feature a pair of not so scary gnome scarecrows from the new Hay Gnomie set. I created the two scenes using Silhouette software, resizing, sending to the back or front until I was happy with the arrangement. I then printed onto Copic friendly cardstock and cut out both with a stitched rectangle die. I colored both with Copic markers using the colors from the patterned paper I wanted to use. I can't resist a fall paper pad even though I already have so much paper.

Products: The Cat's Pajamas digital stamps, Carta Bella dp, PTI and MFT cs, Simon Says and Spellbinders die, Copic Markers

Copics (Female Gnome): Skin-E0000, E01, E02; Hair-E50, E53, E44; Straw-YR30, Y21; Blouse-W00, E81; Skirt.Hat/Patches-BG000, BG10, BG11, BG72, E11, E07, E08, E09; Pole-E31, E33; Haystack-YR30, Y21, Y23, Y26; Pumpkin 1-BG70,BG72, BG75, C00; Pumpkin2-YR21, YR24, YR27; Ground-W00, W1; Shadows-W00, E81

The sentiment was printed from the Stacked Sentiments set.

Copics (Male Gnome): Skin-E01, E02; Beard/Mustache-C00, C1, C3; Straw-E81, E84, Y21; Shirt/Patches-BG10, BG11, BG13, W00; Pants/Patches-E11, E13, E15, E19; Pole-E30, E31; Fence-E30, E33, E35, W1; Wheel-W00, W1, W2, W5; Pumpkin-YR21, YR24, YR27; Squash-YR30, YR31, BG13, BG34; Ground-W00, W1; Shadows-W00, E81

Merriest Christmas

Good morning. I created today's card for the My Favorite Things Slimline Challenge-Christmas

I cut and colored several of the birds from the My Favorite Things Winter Songbird stamp and die set including this trio during the latest #thedailymarker30day challenge. I used a slimline basics die set to cut from wood textured cardstock and the woodgrain patterned paper or the backing. The birds and sprigs of greenery were attached using a combo of glue and foam dimensionals. The sentiment from the My Favorite Things Mini Merry Messages set was stamped using licorice ink.

Products: My Favorite Things stamps, Doodlebug dp, Ellen Hutson and PTI cs, Mama Elephant dies, Pinkfresh Studio and Altenew ink, Copic Markers
Copics: Birds-E50, E51, E53 E55, W00, E81, R30, R32, R35, YR31; Scarf/Hats-T1, T3, T5, T7; Greenery-YG01, YG03; Berries-R32, R35

Have a great weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by.
